People say that Arkansas and Auburn are bad...they're still 2 SEC schools with SEC athletes, and ULM played them both in their own building.
Baylor has played 2 HORRID teams. SMU and Sam Houston St. SMU lost to Texas A&M 48-3 and Sam Houston St (who was beating Baylor 20-10 at one point) plays teams like Incarnate Word (real team they played in week 1).
Baylor is solid. They have a good offense led by a QB that not many people know a lot about. They have 2 real good wr's as well. But their running game isn't good at all and their D is nothing to write home about.
ULM is a very well coached team. They also have a really good QB. His wr's may not be as good as Baylor's but they are very good in their own right. ULM is a better version of BYU (which isn't very tough to be I guess). They play smart football and they get the job done.
This is there 1st big prime time game at home under the lights. And they are getting points somehow. Baylor has to travel on the road for the 1st time and actually plays a good opponent.
ULM wins this one straight up.
I actually like Baylor and think they're a solid program. But the biggest knock people keep making about ULM is their opponents.
Which is a tougher schedule?
at Arkansas
at Auburn
or
home vs SMU
home vs Sam Houston St
#Warhawks
ULM 34
Baylor 27

Auburn/Arkansas have no QB (wilson got hurt). Ark up 21-7 when they had a real qb. Nick Florence is the difference.
Florence is definitely a gamer. And he could be the difference. But ULM has faced 2 much tougher defenses than Baylor and they did it on the road. I think getting a TD or more at home is a great pick.

Baylor's running back Salubi is very good. Yes Baylor defense is weak but their offense won't be stopped and it will be tough for ULM to keep up. Also after playing two SEC teams you would think a team from the Sun Belt would be beat up a little.
Trickdaddy why you stop rapping?

Exactly why I'm passing this game, I like Baylor but I wouldn't be surprised if Monroe squeezes out a win here. It's going to be a good game to watch without sweating.

Just had to get out of the rap game my man. Too dangerous ;)
Salubi is solid. But I think people are discrediting ULM way too much.
A good home dog during the week playing in their first prime time night game. I'm all over that.
I like both of these teams but I honestly feel that ULM is the better overall team.
