ohio st -17?

Reasons Ohio State will cover...
*cal is horrible road team especially out of conference.
*game is 12 est time(9 am westcoast).
*cal has Usc on deck, important conference game. Cal has o-lineman out plus they will be precautious w any other injuries due to their Usc game
*Meyer will pull no punches, this being osu's top non conference game and uab on deck, they will make a statement against the pac-12 team
* cal's last time playing out east was against Maryland at noon Maryland dominated. (This fact goes against my belief that u never make a prediction based solely on how a team plays the week before )
Take all the other facts I've mentioned above and make ur own judgment but I'm taking Ohio State in a rout , 44-17

Like the pick.  Should be noted in that Maryland game it was humid, something the west coast boys aren't accustomed to.

Ohio St has one of the nations lowest stability numbers this season.  I agree Cal does not play well on the road, but I would be scared of giving this many points with a low stability team.  gl

3rd home game for Ohio St as well.......They are prime right now...They Crush Cal,,,,,

May I add, every game for OSU is an incentive for the coaches and players. Being barred from post season play including the Big Ten championship, they will play each game like it's their last.   Like I previously stated, Cal is more concerned about the USC game on deck. They are not in contention for the BCS championship but can make due within their conference games.  This isn't a conference game. Cal will come out flat and unmotivated.

Except Tedford's feeling the heat ... they won't be flat and unmotivated; they'll just be outclassed athletically .... eventually.  Cal will keep it close for a half or so - the middle of the third will tell the tale .. if they get a turnover or pick six, safety, or other momentum shift, they will cover - this is unlikely...if not, Buckeyes pull away in the 3rd/4th quarter... but the game is not as much a slam dunk as most covers' posters believe (at least 90% of which are on Ohio St...)

As a very big Buckeye fan, I seen this open at -17. Cal is a horrible team, and they will travel cross country for a noon game. I expected this line to go up as of now its -16/-16.5 at some sites. I got it at -17. I still expect this line to grow. We'll see....

I like Ohio State here in a 42-10 type game...Bol with your play.

I use bookmaker.  the line opened at -17, went to -18 then down to -16 1/2 so I jumped on it with the hook.  just seen it was phil steele's 4 star game pick of the week if that amounts to anyone.

LOL, he has them winning by 4 td's. i did my own research and prediction before i looked at anyone else's including Phil.  Hope he's right.

Ohio St has very low stability this season.  D got gashed on the ground, nearly lost to a 17 point UD from the West coast at 11a???  Nice pick all on Cal.
