People are tired of the SEC, and they noopne in the SEC will go undefeated OU, and USC will comfortably win their conference, and there is your matchup!!!

How do you know USC and chokahoma will go undefeated lol? Doesn't matter if people are tired of the SEC, they are the best conference with the best 2 teams in terms of talent/depth.

I agree that most of the country is suffering from SEC fatigue.  That, however, doesn't change the fact that the most talented teams still reside there.  Does that necessarily mean a SEC team will win the national championship again this season?  Absolutely not.

If Oklahoma and USC can run the table in their respective conferences, then there is a reasonably good chance they could meet for the national title, but having both of them end the season undefeated is a pretty big if.  Personally I don't think either will.

Yes, there is also a chance we may not see an undefeated SEC team next season.  Alabama may lose to LSU in Baton Rouge, and LSU may lose to someone like Florida or Arkansas.  All of that is certainly possible.  But if it comes down to a 1-loss SEC versus a 1-loss team from another conference, chances are the SEC team will get the nod.  That's reality.

Personally I believe that Alabama and LSU will again be the best two teams in the nation, followed by USC, Oregon, Oklahoma and Florida State.  So I think the winner of the Alabama/LSU game will win the SEC West, the SEC title and the national championship.  I also think USC will be their likely opponent in the title game.

The problem with the SEC is, Its like watching water drip out of a faucet, Taking nothing away from the coaches or the athletes but Jesus H Christ, can you get more boring, Yes its they have proven to be the best, Its understood but it doesnt mean all of us have to be lambs and praise such boring football, I would love to see a pac 12 team go at with a big 12 or a big ten school, atleast you will see an entertaining game where we actually have the balls to play the over.

Because Alabama is working in a lot of new guys on defense, and because Alabama will have to face Arkansas on the road the third week of the season, that is certainly a game they could lose.

LSU will have 2 weeks to rest, heal and prepare for Alabama, and the game will be in Baton Rouge so that will also be a tough game for the Crimson Tide.

Another game that can't be overlooked is the Missouri game.  Alabama will face Missouri's explosive offense on the road, and the Tigers are typically a pretty good home team.  Although Alabama will have two weeks to prepare for that game, that game could also present a challange for Alabama's young defense.

Let's also not forget the Michigan and Tennessee games.

So, Alabama losing 3 games is certainly within the realm of possibility.  Personally, I would put Alabama's expected loss total at 1.  If they can get past their first three games unscathed, that will give their defense time to find their sea legs so to speak, and put them in great position to make another run at a SEC Championship.

I'd like to see USC vs the SEC in the BCS.  And that is probably what the TV networks want too (except for Notre Dame in the BCS, but I am only discussing teams with a chance to make it)

USC still low on scholarships.  Kiffin doing a great job there, but it remains to be seen how they fare in close games.

PAC 12 USC--vs SEC Next year

Maybe Georgia finds a way to get there ... Schedule is awesome as they avoid the BIG 3 from the West (no Bama,LSU or Arkansas )

With all due respect, ESPN and the media can kiss my a$$, the fact remains the SEC has won the last 5 national titles, that is what makes them the best but like I said, Its like watching water drip out of a faucet.

I am not completely sold on USC just yet. Sure they will be good, but Kiffin as a head coach does not impress me at all. I think they could easily drop a game somewhere.

I'm with you on Kiffin, but the rest of the coaching staff is outstanding.

PRETTY EASY TO WIN A CHAMPIONSHIP WHEN YOU GET A TEAM IN EVERY YEAR...NOT TO MENTION THAT THE SEC IS THE BEST BEST BEST AT PAYING THE PLAYERS PARENTS!!!!!! "BEST" IS A RELATIVE TERM!!

THEY ARE PAID!!! SEC PLAYERS PARENTS/ UNCLES GET PAID, AND THAT IS WHY THEY ARE THERE!!!

LAST YEAR LSU/ BAMA CHAMPIONSHIP WAS THE MOST LAME BORING, PREDICTIBLE GAME I HAVE EVER SEEN!!! THE SEC BIAS MAKES ME SICK AND YOU BAMA person CAN SIT ON IT!!
