It looks pretty easy to jump on NC State minus the short number. Heck, they beat Clemson and now all they have to do is just win against lowly Louisville....not sooooo fast. I like the matchup for Louisville, and look for the outright underdog win.
Louisville wins 27-24
Louisville +3(buy)

Want to provide some rationale as to why Louisville will shock NC State? This applies to all---if you can't take the time to provide some rationale for your pick, don't bother to post.

1133 - I don't have time to go thru all my reasons why I like Louisville. My plays are 1,2 and 3 units, generally I'll provide more reasoning on my larger plays. I'm up 39 units for the year and have been doing this for 33 years. I'm not being paid to post picks so if you don't like go to another thread. GL

Get lost. No one needs to explain why they took someone.
Histrionic personality disorder. It's sad

Agreed that neither team winning would be a shocker in this one.
Mike Glennon and his brother Sean (VA Tech) are locals over here, so I try to catch NC St on TV whenever they're playing.
With that said, Mike Glennon is a complete disappointment this year having to fill Rusell Wilsons shoes. He's got a strong arm, but his accuracy is very questionable. He also holds the ball way too long, and gets punished by effectively blitzing defenses.
I've seen Louisville play this year many times. Bridgewater is pretty clutch this year, and Louisville's defense has been great from what I've seen. In a low scoring game, I think it favors Louisville who is quite good in those 13-10 type of games.
Contrary to popular belief, the Big East conference is probably stronger than the ACC this year. NC St went down 4 TDs to a Maryland team that is TERRIBLE this year and managed to come back and win. Maryland ranks among the bottom in the country in defense.
Beating Clemson was a nice win, but it was obvious from the beginning that this team was a fraud. They don't play a lick of defense, and it caught up to them at the end of the year.
That is why I find it very surprising that you thought NC St. was the obvious pick here.

I don't know if I thought NC State was the OBVIOUS pick but I just think the average public sees that NC State beat a highly ranked Clemson team and with a short number will take the favorite. Just a hunch...
