OK ST lost as 28 point fav on the road.
Dont play that stupid dealing with deaths garbage...
They were winning the game 24-7....
So, they took a 17 point lead and then starting thinking about the deaths???
Give me a break...they gave up 45 points at home in ONE fricken game....as I am typing this, every team in the Big 12 just allowed another TD....
Welcome to the Big 12...where scoring 42 points in every game means you will go 3-5 cause we have no defense ![]()

Ive been posting this all day in threads.....
People talk abotu how good the Big 12 is and how they play each other and beat each other and ranked teams....
Baylor has the only victory this season out-of-conference over a currently ranked team in TCU...and that was opening night![]()
The Big 12 has beat nobody but the scrubs in their own conference

Pretty much what I've been saying. Oklahoma State vs. LSU would be a nightmare for the Big 12 just like the Ohio State blowouts were to the Big 10. Oklahoma State is not even close to being on LSU's level. It would be a blowout of epic proportions. Something like 45-14, and that's only because LSU calls off the dogs late.

And I guess it's worth adding that the reasons we don't have a playoff is becasue the Big 12 keeps blocking it. The SEC has proposed a 4-team playoff, and the Big 12, Big 10 & Pac 10 refuse to even discuss it. That's what I call a big heaping helping does of karma!!!

So then prove it again. Alabama had their chance, AT HOME, and lost. They could be in LSU's position, but they lost, AT HOME, because their field goal kicking is a fucking joke.

Your response has absolutely nothing to do with the discussion.
That said, Alabama has 2 field goal kickers One of those kickers is hitting 80% of his kicks, and I certainly don't think that's "a fucking joke." Posting a response that has absolutely nothing to do with the post you're responding to, however, is "a fucking joke."

You said LSU vs Oklahoma State would "be a nightmare for the Big 12", did you not? My retort was what it was, and that's lets see the big bad SEC prove it one more time. LSU is the best team in the SEC. They won on the road at Alabama. Alabama had an advantage over a lot of other teams. You know why? Because unlike everyone else, they actually had control of their own destiny in a corrupt/bias system. And they lost. Was it the best lost of any 1 loss team in CFB? Absolutely. But to say that all Alabama had to do to ensure a spot in NOLA was to beat Arkansas at home and win at ultra offensively challenged Penn State is just downright laughable.
The SEC this year wasn't what it has been in the past. Outside of LSU, Alabama, Arkansas, and South Carolina. And no, Georiga doesn't count becuase they beat NO ONE to waltz their way to 10 wins. And the two teams they did play at home in South Carolina and Boise, they lost.
Alabama got into the title game based off prestige. That's pretty disappointing IMO.
