LSU beat Bama in their back yard on Prime-Time and will beat Ark. and Geo. So, if Bama wins on a (N) vs LSU then they are the Champs?

LSU is the Champ this season in most eyes regardless of the last game.

Bama should have won at home then. They had their shot and blew it--at home....

And besides, it’s reasonable to ask if Alabama is all that good anyway. In the two games since losing to LSU, the Crimson Tide took a 10-0 lead into the fourth quarter against 5-6 Mississippi State and its top-ranked defense allowed 302 yards rushing against Georgia Southern.

More like roll garbage to me....

Let a different team have a crack at LSU.

Lol, no they aren't that good... They were the better team against LSU, but lost. They held the #1 ranked team in the nation to the closest game they have played all season and proved they are without a doubt the second best team in the nation. They are currently the ONLY team that is capable of beating LSU...

You are, of course, exactly right.  If LSU beats Arky and UGa, they should clearly be national champs.  But, we "need" another game to prove it.  This is the nature of American sports.  I don't have a problem with it, but it shows you how silly the idea that we "need to have a playoff to know who the best team is" really is.  We often know well before a playoff who the best team is.  We just like to have it all build to a final game so can get drunk and make silly prop bets on it.  Hell, I'm not sure Butler or UConn were among the best 10 teams in college hoops last year, but nobody has any problem with them playing for a title because they "settle it on the field {court, whatever]."  If LSU were to win its next two games, I'd be hard-pressed to imagine how they could have "settled it on the field" any more than they arleady have.   Regardless, Bama will still claim another national title, maybe two.

I can pretty much guarantee you, not a single Bama player/fan who wins a National Championship is going to care who won what before that game IF we win. LMAO!  It's the rest of you morons who will use that as an excuse to feel better about Bama being the best.

2 Teams from the same Conference shouldn't play for the Title, they settled it in Conference and Bama lost.

Reminds me of 2002 when NU backed into the Title game.

We already know Bama can't beat LSU, not even at Home. Why would we want to watch their suck-fools again in 6 weeks

LSU would just put something on their behind again and everybody it would be a big waste of time.

I'm saying you are a dumb behind if you think Alabama is not going to NC. And can tell you that will not lose again/More motivated team now and it is hard to beat a team twice in a season...i.e. FSU V FLA when they had a rematch that year and FLA smashes the SEMINOLES in that NC game....so yes you dumb mutha fucka you look like your inbred....u probably are...ROLL TIDE...

funny thing BW is that the SEC Championship Game now is meaningless

Miles would have to be a fool to risk losing any players in what amounts to a scrimmage game in Atlanta before the big show 5 weeks later in New Orelans vs the TIde

More motivated? They looked like garbage against Miss St. and Georgia Southern. If anything they looked a hell of a lot less motivated to me. Yes they will be motivated if they play LSU again but any team would be.
