KKtdoc, getting money in and out is instant so that is one good quality.  After that it is up to you whether you like the concept.  Persnonally, I like making a different team every week, or day (NBA, NHL is daily) and following the games.  Puts you in all the action without a season long commitment .....  Mostly I'll jump in one of the big prize games, then hedge by adding that same team to a bunch of small leagues..... you can jump in some free leagues to see if it is for you.
