This spread should be closer to -13. Persa will not be able to stay healthy. Michigan will blitz all day and try to force Persa out of the pocket. He's mobility is very limited.
Michigan will have 15,000 to 20,000 fans for NU home game. It will be a great atmosphere and Michigan will be ready to play.
I see this spread moving at minimum up to -10.
Take Michigan and this is coming from a NU homer.

This could be a letdown game for Mich. However, I think these teams are going in opposite directions. NU's D and O have struggled and should have been blown out by UofI. 3 turnovers and short field for NU. NU also had 2 weeks to prepare.
Weakest part of NU's D is Linebackers. Don't think they will contain the speed of Michigan.
It will feel like a partial home crowd for Michigan.
I hope your right but I don't see the Cats winning.

I'm not sure Cats will win, but with Persa, can't really say NU offense struggling.. dude threw 4 TD passes in 3 quarters last week against a pretty good Illinois D..
Agree the Denard rushing game should put up points, but as long as Persa is playing, I'm fairly confident NU can match score for score..
Also, first road game for UM, add to that a night game, gotta think NU unleashes the playbook..

Good call cornerstone. Michigan would be phony in the SEC, but they will have their way with Northwestern. Pay heed to a guy that fades his own team, he probably knows what he is taking about. having said that, the big 10 is a crap shoot because you don't know when a team on the road will not bring it's A game.
