But, I cannot see the Ducks covering these monster spreads against in conference play with the exception of Arizona; we know that team is a disaster. Only Lame Kiffen can’t cover against Zona. Back to the point at hand; California is a decent team with some offensive flare. They have burned betters the past few years ESPECIALLY on the road and that keeps this line inflated, along with the Ducks historical high-powered offense (since the Chip Kelly era began). But we will see some solid drives out of California and the ability to keep up with this squad more so than people think.
Zach Maynard has put up over 1000 yards with 10 TDs and only 3 interceptions. They have put up 2 tough battles on the road, not collapsing in typical fashion. They put up a fight against Washington, which doesn’t look like a bad loss these days. I’ll cup my balls the whole game and hope Oregon doesn’t have a field day…I see it Oregon 38, California 24.
