Decent first week. Baylor won as planned. Most things worked out other than Colorado....who I have no problem being a glutton for punishment and betting again. This week presents some interesting spots and situations. Still playing small until next week....
2 Units FIU +4
If you read anything I wrote all week, this is no surprise. I think Louisville is the worst squad in the Big East - the Big East is terrible. This team has no balls and no identity. On top of that? Their biggest rivalry game is next week. Against another team that sucks (Kentucky). But its a game they are certainly looking ahead to.
FIU has played much better over the last season and I am impressed with what they bring to the table here. They have the best and most explosive player on the field in Hilton. The guy is electric. After almost beating Rutgers to start the year last year, this would be a huge win for this team and they think they can do it. I think they can to. They have the motivation to put themselves on the map a little bit with a win over a BCS conference squad. I like that.

This is less of a play on Vandy than it is against UCONN. I think UCONN is the second worst team in the Big East - the Big East is terrible. Home game, at night should be a decent crowd for Vandy. UCONN still playing with two quarterbacks and when you have two quarterbacks, you dont have one.

I couldnt believe when I saw this hit 7.5. I get it, BC isnt sexy. They dont have a good offense. Who wants to bet on a team that cant score? I do. BC is going to stay in this with defense - the same way they did their bowl game. They arent as bad as they played week 1. Lets get that straight. UCF is a good squad that is on the come-up, but to lay this is just paying a premium and there is no way you should ever do that.

Ill fade Purdue OOC on the road against Rice. Not exactly a team you are raring to go to the middle of nowhere to go play against. After playing Texas, Purdue should seem like the practice squad. Purdue is down to their 3rd stringer at QB and this is a huge test for him. Its not playing MTSU at home.
Rice should be extremely motivated to get a win over a BCS team here. Rice is also on the come-up, getting much better recruits over the last 3 years. This team knows this is a time for them to step up. After getting praise for staying within reach of Texas, they know this could be their next step. I think you see a very determined team out there on Saturday.

I couldnt believe when I saw this hit 7.5. I get it, BC isnt sexy. They dont have a good offense. Who wants to bet on a team that cant score? I do. BC is going to stay in this with defense - the same way they did their bowl game. They arent as bad as they played week 1. Lets get that straight. TCU needs this game. They need it badly. This is a bad spot for a team without veteran leadership to be in. They need a 3rd year starter at QB. Pachall seemed to lose the deer in headlights look he had last week, but he is being thrown right back into the fire. If TCU loses? Yikes! The next time you hear their name will be when you are talking about the spread for the Papa Johns Bowl. They cannot lose this game. If they do, they lose their season. This team has everything to lose. Air Force? Nothing to lose. They are supposed to lose to TCU. Everyone thinks so. Do they need this game? Ehhh, I mean, who doesnt need to win, but a loss wouldnt hurt. More important than need here for me is want. These kids want this game. They want to beat TCU. These kids have pride, they are in the fucking military. These seniors want to go out knowing they beat TCU once. They want to feel that pride. They want to kill TCU's season. And I want to bet on them while they do it.

i would be careful with nd mich game, nd is bringing in the other qb the one who opened up against mich last year threw 2 passes and 1 interception, if anything imight look for the under this game has so many dif edges to it its a pass for me coin flip

Wouldn't be surprised to see Hoke move Robinson back to the shotgun for a few plays, and if successful even more. No way they opened things up last week, knowing Kelley and The Irish were up next. Do I think that will give Maze and Blue enough to win and cover in the game? Definately not. Don't think for a minute Wolverines offense will be the difference maker in this game. Their defense, or lack of, should be what gives the Irish the edge. Should be, as the line indicates, a very interesting game to watch, but still thinking ND takes it over late, and covers. Like a few of your other plays, RJ, but don't have balls as big as yours to back them all. Probably going to also be on BC, Air Force, FIU, and Vandy. Murray St only averaged 2.9 yards a carry last week. Not saying FIU is the same as Murray St however they are not far off. Hilton can only do so much as a wideout and KR. The Ville is gonna run it down FIU's throats with Victor Anderson. All week long coach Charlie Strong has been drilling in the players heads how to limit penalties. Thats was one of the difference makers in Louisville not blowing out Murray St last week. Also the three fumbles didnt help. The difference in talent is far superior with Louisville and FIU strengths dont play into the Cardinals weakness. Cardinals win this game by at least two touchdowns. This is amazing. Next thing I know, you are going to start a thread that isnt completely worthless.....nah, that would just be too good to be true.

I just think the talent disparity has dropped like a fucking rock in just one season and I think its enough for AF to get it done. They are a team with nothing to lose and that is a very, very dangerous spot for TCU to be in.
