Auburn -23
-Sure they lost so key cogs on both sides of the ball but this was the best team in football last year, and still would have been great even without newton at QB... This is a soft line, I dont know how Chizik is gonna play the forth but I imagine Aiburn will be up 28 or more at that point and I will hope to avoid the backdoor cover.
Northwestern/BC Over 45.5
-This play to me really hinges on how Northwestern comes out the gates to start the season... I wanted to take Nothwestrn on the spread but looked closer and saw that too many of there games are played to tight into the 4th, not worth the risk until you see what they can do... Worth a shot on the over, Fitzgerald has this team believing they can do better than last year's bowl game... They play 4 out of 6 roads games over last year...
Rice +24.5
-Despite launching the Longhorn Network, Texas is still a team that look pathetic last year and missed a bowl... It would be one thing if there recruiting class was rated A+ but its average at best, and regardless what are talented freshman gonna do for you in your first game... THis same game played to 30-17 last year, I imagine the same this year... Brick by Brick indeed...
Notre Dame + Michigan + Gamecocks + Sooners + WVU + Texas A&M
-The only real question marks in this parlay are Notre Dame and Michigan... I am just hoping both of those teams avoid embarrasing starts to their seasons... Plus the parlay gives you action going into Sunday which is always nice...
