Stumbling just a bit trying to get this bowl season rolling but I'll keep on grinding and see what lady luck sends my way.Just haven't liked any of the matchups really well thus far. Hopefully we'll have some better ones as the week progresses.
Tuesday:
NC STATE +3
I am really concerned about NC State's defense being able to slow down the WV attack long enough to keep em close but the numbers tell me I have to play the dog here.NC State was a dog 6 times this year and covered 5 of the 6. West Virginia on the other hand always struggles when laying points covering just 11 of their last 30 chances as a favorite. Throw in the fact that the ACC thrives in bowl competition when matched up with the Big East covering 14 of the last 18 and the fact that WV has lost the money in 12 of their last 16 tries against the ACC and we have a combined 26-8 ats play on situation. Ole Tom knows how to get the cash on bowl day as well covering 7 of the last 8 chances. Let's hope he finds a way to D up and gets one more for us here.
Still looking at the 2nd game and most likely will be on Iowa.My problem with backing Iowa is their pitiful ending to the season, losing 3 straight and 4 in a row ats. Will they get up? Still looking into and will be back to firm up this play before it starts.
bol fellas.

[/Quote I have yet to see a team lack motivation in any of these bowl games. I doubt Kirk Ferentz allows his team to be the first. His Iowa teams have been historically good in bowls and as dogs. Missing major weapons but they have had time to prepare and even rally around backups.
