What side is everyone on?
Thanks, BOL to all and Happy Holidays

#2 Posted: 12/27/2010 10:18:12 PM I'm on WV (not just cus a homer pick) but I think that the team will step up for Bill Stewart's last game.**
** I believe Bill Stewart resigns after the bowl win.
Good Luck

#3 Posted: 12/27/2010 10:24:17 PM so you think that another coaching vacancy is going to open up shortly?? hmm interesting. not saying your wrong, just don't follow WVU football. I think team motivation has the biggest factor in determining pre-BCS bowl winners. I feel that Stewart does not posses the qualities to get under his teams skin to get them to step up in big key matchups.
I just have a slight lean right now on State. My mother went there but other than that I have no "homer" attachment to them.
P.s. I love you avatar. Mad respect

#12 Posted: 12/28/2010 12:43:22 AM Wv'A's offense is explosive allright, but WHEN is the key?. I've seen 3 of their games here in Morgantown, and the offense is the most inconsistent, unpredictable, and therefore not dependable one that I've seen all year, or many years! They can look great 80 yards down the field, then end up back 40 yards, penalties, fumbles , sacks etc...NOT a good team to lay $$$$$$$ on. Additionally, Stewart is horrific as a coach with NO enthusiasm or leadership. I know I wouldn't get up for a game for him. The off. coordinator that they just hired is supposed to be there next year as such, with Stewart taking one more year. Think big Stew might say "That's it" after tomorrow...In short, they show "signs' of consistency, but BILLBOARDS of disaster!...I'll prob. have a play on the game tom.

#13 Posted: 12/28/2010 12:50:41 AM WV's defense hasn't given up more than 21 points all season. Leaning towards WV in this one.

#14 Posted: 12/28/2010 1:05:15 AM So far I'm feeling that WVU has an extremely inconsistent offensive attack. WVU defense has not given up more than 21 all year. NCSU team total is set at 23.5 and WVU at 26.5
This seems like a good under play to me rather than picking a side, thoughts?

Zoot earlier you said if you played this game it would be NCSU +3, that was my initial lean as well. However, the more I look at this game the more the under appeals to me.
Thought's???

#18 Posted: 12/28/2010 6:53:12 AM NCSt. has played the short dog role very well this yr. 3-1 in the 2.5 to 4.5 dog role, w/ 2 of those on the road. 3 of those 4 mentioned games played UNDER the total. ?? |

#20 Posted: 12/28/2010 8:06:55 AM coach stew will figure out a way to cost his team the game--the guy is terrible as a head coach - all reorts say he is a good man, just not a good coach--NCSU or nothing for me |

Thanks, They have already named their "Head Coach-in-Waiting" for 2012 Dana Holgrosen (OC from OKST, Houston, Texas Tech)

#23 Posted: 12/28/2010 11:08:37 AM NCST Wins this out-right.
Wilson is a great dual threat QB and NC St's D is under-rated -- I think NC St covers here & probably wins. |

#24 Posted: 12/28/2010 11:15:47 AM The stats are misleading because of the woeful Big East. They both thumped Cinny by 20+, however WVU beat up a terrible Maryland squad (3rd week). A much improved Maryland squad in turn beat NC State in the last game of the season and cost them a shot in ACC title game. Look for Wilson and the senior laiden wolfpack to out score WVU and Geno Smith will turnover the ball at least two times, at least!!!! NC State ML... easy money.. |
