I've been playiing small most season but the week starting Thursday Nov 4 I did real well:
Wins: Ohio -16 vs Buff, CenFl -2 vs Hou, Iowa under, Tem -3 vs KenSt, PenSt - 6.5 vs NW, Stan - 7.5 vs AZ,
Loss: OK -4.5 Vs TX AM, Mizz -5.5 Vs TT
Since that weekend I have been just under .500 I try and read threads and take what I can out of those but I'm not sure who knows what there talking about and who talks out their ass. I'd really like one person who doesn't mind taking the time and really teaching me what I need to know to become a succesful gambler
Thanks in advance,
HouseDawg

successful gambling doesnt mean picking the right side in my opinion....it comes down to money management, limiting your number of bets, and playing "outside the number". some people frown upon situational betting, but i think its great....there are a rare few that start out as great gamblers...it takes a lot of people, including myself, a good number of losing seasons before you start to just pick up intangibles that keep you away from "bad" games...for now, if you just want to make money, follow me

You can get a good start from the free article's at J R Miller's site. People are going to come in and bash him, but his advice is solid. Never take anyone's advice verbatim, but you can get a good start overall here...

There no secret to being a successful sports gambler. You have to win more games than you lose. Methods and ideas to do that will differ. But the biggest key of all is bankroll management. Whatever your bankroll is never bet more than 2-3% of that bankroll on any play.
Honestly its a gift. Either you have it or you dont. Most people dont. Best advice i can give you is find someone that does and follow them into the winners circle.
BigEastExpert, Chungnoc, Gilberto are a few good handicappers that have long term winning records.
