Auburn AD Jay Jacobs just said that they have no comment on Cams status for tomorrow.

Just saw that also, have no idea what that means. How do others interpret this mess?

Every freakin different minute is a new report or a false report.

It means Auburn is tired of answering the same question 50 times a day.  They notified people that would be their new reply to all Cam questions.  ESPN is just continuing to make a moutain out of a mole hill to keep working on their ratings. ESPN is completely out of control.

I am agreeing with Jake Arute who said yesterday, "ESPN is not good for the sport of College Football. It is a self serving institution that is dedicated to one thing…….ESPN!"

Good point Bosalt. Also if i wasnt mistaken, I heard in the ESPN reports that Rogers or whoever the other guy is, was to MEET with the FBI on TUESDAY. Therefore no new evidence can come up before then that the public can possibly hear about. So why wouldn't Newton be able to play tomorrow?

if there was any question if Cam Newton was playing tomorrow our friends in Vegas would have that game off the board. The simply fact that the game is still on the board tells me he is playing.

Well Vegas obviously thinks something is up, cause it is off the board.

That would be 100% correct.

By the way Auburn hasn't answered any questions regarding Newton since Wednesday.  Legal team must have implemented 'no comment' at that point.

Only way he doesn't play is if the NCAA recommended it. At this point he might as well play though.

The game is off the board though so has me concerned a bit.

Its off on several other sites like betus and sportsbetting, personally I think he is playing, at this point if you sit him you have thrown in the towel and admitted cam has done something wrong.

The quoted info above has now been verified as false. Verification came from reporters that cover Auburn and live radio reports that quote Mike Slive (SEC Commish).

Mike Slive article (sounds like) Mississippi State should have kept there mouth shut. They might be in more trouble than Auburn.
