It's pretty obvious to everyone, except Auburn fans, that the NCAA is gonna come down heavy here at some point.
Most likely, the NCAA sanctions will not be handed down for a few months...BUT...
What if ???
If the NCAA does act in the next 3-4 weeks and Auburn has to forfeit all wins where Cam Newton participated. Would LSU then be deemed undefeated and moved up the polls???

As far as Cam Newton goes...

I am very new to NCAA policies, but can you do that ( forfeit all the wins )?
It's happend dozens of times in CFB and CBB, but it's been done long after the season was over. We've never seen a situation like this involving a player and a team in the middle of their run.
Don't get me wrong...I don't think it's gonna happen. While the NCAA is definitely going to slam Newton and Auburn, I don't think it will happen before the bowl match-ups are selected.
...it is an outside possibility though.

Auburn fans are the ONLY ones looking at this rationally. make all the assumptions you want, no1 has ever been convicted with allegations. people will continue to draw whatever conclusion they want, fact based or not. all auburn fans are asking for is ONE shred of evidence to any of the 3 allegations that have surfaced in the last 7 days(2 of them already PROVEN to be false). ill be the first one to jump off the Newton bandwagon and call him a fraud ONLY when it can be proven. why must it be guilty until proven innocent?

Swizzol, you could be an espn journalist. You would fit right in. I know more about time travel than you know about what is going to happen to Cam Newton, Auburn, or the anybody else for that matter.
For you to talk like you already know what is coming is comical. Truth is you enjoy getting a rise out of people. Like I said before you would fit right in as one of the many columnists that write these types of Hollywood scam stories. Would expect nothing less.

Here's your problem... the NCAA is a beaurocracy which means nothing will happen fast. Even if they have evidence (which I am not sure they do) they won't do anytihng before the season is over. This is a non issue... unless they win out and win the NC. He is obviously guilty just by his reactions but it will take time to make it stick

Best rushing performance against LSU I've ever seen.......hate to see that wiped out. He just kicked LSU's ass that night, I don't care how many double wide trailers they bought his mom.

I thought this story was ripped to shreds as bogus already??
Rogers said he never spoke with Bond. It was all rumors etc. The whole basis of the story by Thayer etc was a conversation between Rogers and Bond - they both admitted that conversation never took place. Bond is an MSU booster who is just a bit jealous, it seems. He has zero credibility - which is indisputable.
The argument that Newton was asking for money would never hold in a court of law. There arent enough people saying he did - credible people that is. This is bogus.

I agree anything happening before the end of this year is unlikely, but if it did.... How would vegas treat such things as beginning of the season Over/under bets for wins?
I have Clemson Over 7.5. It is going to be tough at this point, but I sure could use that Auburn win....
