Alright fella's.. time to finish the year out strong, It has been a great run this year. I hope everyone else has done well. Its always interesting to see how the year ends up with these bowl games. Teams that you could never imagine playing square off to show their pride for their school and represent their conference. I still believe the best approach is to set a goal to where you want to be at the end of the bowl season and try and reach that. Use good MM and have patience. We are all aware (hopefully) that we are not going to get it right every game. Maybe there will be a few here that accomplish that, however, to be realistic set yourself a goal to just end up with more wins than losses. I wish you all a Happy New Year. Lets finish strong into the New year, and cash out big at the end of the season. All games will be posted here through 12-31-09. Then I will start a new thread for the last bowl games in 2010. Good Luck

This game seems strange to have such a low total with as many games that the Temple Owls went over the total. Temple likes to run, and will run twice as much than they will pass. However they have a weak pass defense. Which will play to the strength of the UCLA bruins who like to air it out. There is a connection between coaches in this game. THe Temple coach Golden, could have very easily been the coach of UCLA right now , but it did not work out that way. I think that with all the time off that we will see some great offense from both, And could go over the total by end of game. I see alot of things pointing towards the under here, but if this game plays out like the stats show then it should squeeze over. Its seems that Temple has a reliable kicker and could give us a few more points. I just wonder if they will be able to keep it within the 5.

any concern with the wind at RFK and the fact that UCLA likes to pass
Yes,, some concern with that, I am counting on score from special teams and turnovers to reach over the total. Thats the tough one about this game, logical to think it will go over the total, even if temple gets blown out this game, they shoul get some points, and there should be some turnovers. The only way this would stay under the total is if UCLA decides to just run the game away and wait for the clock to end. But I think that UCLA will try and attack and not let off the pedal. The Pac 10 has looked horrible this bowl season. and UCLA was plagued with injuries most of the year. THats why temple is only a 1 unit play for me, I was really leaning UCLA most of the week, but the whole who wants to be there angle has me taking the points, also did a teaser with Temple and over for fun,, Good Luck whichever way you decide to go,

what do you think about 1st half over 22?
I took over 21.5 about 3 minutes ago at BKMKR it was sitting at 22 all morning and then it dropped and i took some of it, but its not a posted play as I am counting on turnovers to get this one over the total for the game, and those could come the 2nd half or 1st half , so not strong enough for a posted play,, GL

In this game I am seeing it be like the Miami vs Oklahoma game, a battle up front, both squads have some big guys up front on both sides of the ball, there may be a few turnovers but nothing to dramatic. basically if wisconsin can get their run game going then they could win straight up, if Miami has an answer for it then they could run away easily.. Good Luck whichever way you go,,
