Extremely pissed at myself right now for changing my pick. I'm putting the blame on the freaking Clarion-Ledger (paper in Jackson, MS) that has been brainwashing me about the Southern Miss Golden Eagles. I researched the game. Liked the underdog enough to bet the moneyline and was pretty confident in my pick. And then changed it 15 minutes before because I had a funny feeling. Well the funny feeling is USM's defense sucks.
Oh well. You live and you learn. I bet Carolina and the Under in the Sunday Night game so I went about even on the day. Made less than a unit.

Thanks for the insight JUSTWINBABY and you are probably correct. I have not put as much time into this as I should have been with the wagers I have been making. Switched on my bet with MTSU to USM because of a funny feeling (based on public perception since I live in Jackson, MS). Was on BYU though I never wrote it. 3 friends that always call me before they placed their picks won because I told them BYU earlier in the day. I let the PAC 10 name recognition cloud my judgement and I have paid for it. I have researched this game extensively.
Nevada is a run oriented offense that operates out of the pistol formation. What makes this type of offense go correctly is if the defense can stop the mobile ability of the quarterback. As we all know, Nevada had 3 1000 yard rushers for the season. And two of them are out. But if you look at Nevada's backups you will see they are just as capable of toting the load. Mike Bell ran for 184 yards on 15 carries and scoring 5 touchdowns against UNLV. Running for more yards and a better average than the two starters and the running back. Don't look too much into the suspensions and injuries. SMU's defense is horrible against the run. Giving up 262 yards on 5.1 a carry to Marshall. A team averaging less that 140 yards a game. About to go see the Blindside but I have researched this game for countless hours. Read game recaps on SMU's games and Nevada's game as well as researching each teams games. Would put 3 or 4 units on this but considering the hole I am in and my loss last night just putting 2. I lean under but SMU will probably get a bullshit touchdown at the end to make me lose that. Nevada covers big.

And I'm absolutely wrong again. Horrible start for the bowls. Plenty of time. Taking the over in the second half for 2 units. Dont usually do 2nd half bets. But SMU should be able to keep this going and I believe Nevada should score atleast 14. BOL

Had Unc and Under in that game but only had UNC at +1. So 3-1 on the day so far. Have the under and USC pending. Only put 1 unit on each because of my horrible losing streak.
