First Play:
Football - 133 Mississippi -4 -110 for Game (2 units)
As always comments are appreciated. I will be back throughout today and tomorrow to add in some plays. Really looking at GT this week as well.
You think Chizik might be a little nervous about this game? Auburn has lost last 3 in a row; but only one was at home, their 21-14 loss to KY, That does not mean that the other two losses went unnoticed by Tigers fans; but if they lose their 4th in a row and this one in front of the home crowd;it will confirm that the honeymoon might be over. This game is also a very early start for Auburn 11:20 am.... pretty early to get the fans lubed for the main event.
And this just in: The Ole Miss game is also a "Navy Nightmare", as fans are encouraged to wear Auburn navy or an official Navy Nightmare shirt to the game.

This game won't be close. First, don't worry about Jevan. He has found his groove, the OL is finally playing up to their capabilities, and Auburn will have no answer for Dex.
Second, how is Auburn going to score? Ole Miss simply doesn't give up TD's. Arkansas had two this weekend, and one was on a 3rd and 16, where they threw it deep, tipped it up, and got a touchdown. Auburn is almost no threat to throw the ball, so Ole Miss will slip Johnny Brown down in the box, play 8 there, and beg Auburn to beat them through the air.
Last, how is Auburn going to stop Ole Miss? They couldn't stop Arkansas or LSU in the last two weeks, and neither are as good offensively as Ole Miss.
Look for this game to be somewhere in the 34-16 range. The only chance AU has is to slip Burns back into the QB slot, and try to do some of the things UAB did. This is their only chance of moving the football.

I agree with every word of that except "The only chance AU has is to slip Burns back into the QB slot, and try to do some of the things UAB did. This is their only chance of moving the football."
Burns is awful. He can't throw. He really isn't even a runner. If Auburn wants a duel threat, Neil Caudle is the choice. When I went to the A-day game and watched him, I said he would be the starter, hands down. That was when Todd was out. I didn't expect him to make a recovery. I feel like his sholder is fucked up again. bottom line, don't play Burns at QB or wildcat. Fannin is a much better choice, imHo, for wildcat QB.

Like the plays Tide - just curious why GT line has gone from -13' to - 11' I don't see any injuries and it is early for a 2 pt swing.

I am an auburn fan and I couldnt agree more with you. Our defense is just bad and the lack of depth shows in every game. I will not be betting against auburn because the few times I have they find a way to cover, but I just dont see how they can keep this close. Hell of a squad yall have across the state man and hope we can find a way to make it interesting come nov.
Good luck![]()
