Here you go a 5-0 team (4-0 at home) against a 3-2 team (0-1 away) and only give 3 points. All seven members of The Oklahoman’s college football coverage team are picking Texas to win on Saturday. 66% on wagerline picked Texas. Personally i would love to take the home team with better record to cover the 3 points, the worst you could get is a tie. Right? The problem is the line don't even move, it is stay steady at 3. So Vegas gonna give you free money this week? I don't know how, but some how Okl. will cover the three point, so i take the Sooner because the spread is only three measly points!

OU is not OU. I am a huge Texas fan and don't want to sound like a homer, but sorry. They are way better in every aspect except the run, unfortunately we have not got that going. To offset that, the Tex run D is tops in the country allowing less than 50/ a game. FYI, OU has no playmakers and Muschamp will sick the dogs on Bradford, Texas by 10 plus....

Oklahoma University. Not to be confused with Oklahoma State University.Weren't they ranked 2nd to start the season? They have a Heisman winner too, don't they? Their BACKS are against the wall huh? Mack -I owe Vince Young HALF my salary a year-Brown, coaches Texas right? ( not that Big Game Bob is any better!).Nothing worse than a cornered animal! I like OK, but as I've said, there are 50 games on the board. OK or NO PLAY. GL ALL
NO, OU was not ranked 2nd, Texas was. And early rankings mean absolutely nothing, its more public perception. Don't believe me? Take a look at where the teams are now that WERE in the top 5 hell top 10, it's not even remotely similar outside the top 3, the ONLY reason OU is ranked in the top 25 with 2 losses is its OU, Stoops shits on himself in every big game. This is an even BIGGER game for OU in the way they have 2 losses. Texas is the better team. They don't turn over the ball and its not even gonna be close...

I agree with your rationale, but must point out a few things
1.) This is a neutral site, thus no home team really
2.) Vegas gives away free money all the time (ask NYG backers or people who backed Indy last Sunday, etc, etc, etc)
