Thoughts on Auburn at Arkansas

Question

First lets look at AU/UT:&#xD;&#xA;Auburn won its first road game and first game as a dog. The O looked good, as usual, even though they stalled a few times short of the goal line. At least Wes Byrum, SEC sprecial teams player of the week, baild them out (he is 9-10 on FGs with 2 49 yard kicks). Auburn had the lead first for the first time this year. I think that was a big part of the win on the road. Auburn also dominated TOP for the first time. Yet another key to the win inHo. Now to the D. Oh boy. Auburn gave up 410 total yards to a UT O squad that, well, sucks. Crompton had 259 passing yards and 0 INTs. Of the 410 yards mentioned, 203 were in the 4th. Did AU &#x27;quit&#x27;? I don&#x27;t think so. I have been impressed at how much better Auburn is playing this year. I think Chizik has down an outstanding job at putting a staff together, and changing the mentality on the team. There is no way in hell Auburn would be undefeated up to this point if Tubbs was still there. Like you stated above at how many yards Crompton threw for against Auburn last week, Mallett will disect Auburns secondary unless they can pressure him as Bama did.  I dont think they can, so I will be taking the Razorbacks this week. Good Luck this week

tough game here...gotta go with your instincts at game time...over should be the right play, but totals suck.......auburn did go up against a strong tenn defense....i dont think arky defense is that good...A&amp;M just ran into an opponent finally

Auburn was really impressive. They could do whatever they wanted to Tennessee and the score was very misleading. I watched every down of that game. It was total domination. All of Crompton's passing yards came when the game was pretty much over. I haven't seen much Arkansas but I'm very impressed with Auburn. If Auburn can move the ball that easily on Tennessee I'm sure they can on Arkansas. I would probably go Auburn here or over when a total comes out as Arkansas has been putting up a lot of points too.

my man this place isn&#x27;t about that garbage....this is about making money.  To be honest I wouldn&#x27;t bet on either side of this game you seem entirely to emotionally attached to gamble on any Auburn (or Alabama game for that matter)

Auburn&#x27;s D just has nothing. Thats just the God&#x27;s honest truth.  I just feel like its only a matter of time before someone at least partially figures out malzahn&#x27;s O and I feel like Petrino and Mallet can outscore them.  Just spells Razorbacks for me.  Add in the public most likely playing on auburn since the beating they laid on Tennessee on national TV.

Why did Coleman, auburn&#x27;s best defensive player, only have one tackle?  At least that&#x27;s what i remember seeing.  Is Neiko Thorpe the real deal in the secondary?  Chizik commented on Eddins first start... any new news..&#xD;&#xA;I think Arkansas will be Hot and Cold all year... no idea why, but they&#x27;ve lit up some teams and looked flat as well... &#xD;&#xA;auburn looked like the old auburn, professional (no stupid penalties), motivated and ready.  &#xD;&#xA;The auburn&#x27;s D as improved every week, no?  I think everyone is becoming more comfortable and moving better as a whole team.  Will we be ready to play a pass happy team, I don&#x27;t know. &#xD;&#xA;Did Petrino and Chizik coach together?  if not they barely missed each other.

I am a student at the U of A and here are my thoughts...I was here when malzahn was here and when he got royally SCREWED over! I have friends that were coached by him in high school and they tell me with his type of mentality, he will be out for blood! I cant bet against my hogs so i will be taking the over ;)

johnlouis, thorpe is for real. he is a head hunter. If Arkansas comes out flat, it could get ugly, just like if Auburn comes out flat. I usually think the home team has the biggest chance of coming out flat for 11 am games. I think HCGC has, and will continue to, keep the Tigers leavel-headed. Yes, the D has inproved every week, as has special teams. The D starters have not played a full game, save WV. Yes, HCGC and HCBP coached together.&#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;I really wish Auburn was not ranked #17. Auburn has played one team, WVU. The combined record of AUs opponents is 9-14 with WV being the only team with a winning record. (Just an FYI, Bamas opponents are 9-12 with VT being the only one with a winning record)&#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;Working on UA...
