Better Defense, just as good of offense, and at home. Ole Miss is overrated.

I like the pick.  I think South Carolina wins at home!!  I dont think ole miss is overrated but I feel south carolina wins.

That great defense you speak of gave up 41 points in a loss to Georgia.  I think the Ole Miss offense is much better than Georgia's offense.  Also with a healthy Greg Hardy, Chris Smelly will have a tough night.  Everyone is talking about how overrated Ole Miss is but I think it should be the other way around.

Your analysis is flawed and hopefully it's just a personal bias; I can understand that. but please don't tell me you capped this game and came up with that....

Neither is their D.  All SC has in this game is the Thursday home thing.

I have heard all this talk about the South Carolina defense and don't understand why...

...they had one great game against North Carolina St...and that's it.

Ya i will say i know nothing about this matchup, honestly I like miss they should be fresh since they had one week off this season already...just vegas playin mind games wit me and due to ole miss being loved by everyone i talked to personally i tend to see it as a sucker...ATLFader you are completely right saying how you can look at the matchup and think SC stays close, their defense has fallen off the face of the earth...Miss just looks to easy....

Yes, SC Defense is usually pretty solid though, definitely solid at home.  I will be at the game getting drunk
 
Should be a good game, should be close. Over came out at 51, is already up to 53.

I don't like any of the QB's for South Carolina, but I do think Ole Miss is a bit overrated, that being said, the line of -3 is about right
 
the oddsmakers are sort of telling you that Ole Miss isn't a #4 team by only being a 3 point favorite at South Carolina
 
USC even after a loss to Washington would be laying 7 or more here, Bama would be laying 7 or more here, Penn St would be laying 5 or more here, Florida would be laying 12 or more here and a few other teams would be laying around a touchdown
 
no play for me, just going to watch it and try to learn more about each team for future games
.
