Tar Heels won last year 38-12 and has 9 defensive starters returning. UCONN QB threw 3 INT's and doesn't have Brown's 160+ rushing attack to lean on.  A lot of people on this, but can't see how UNC doesn't win by at least 7.
UNC- 27 UCONN- 14

SMU at UAB, Over 60, 3 units and UAB -11.5, 2 units
SMU just as bad or worse than Rice. Joe Webb is the man and UAB just beat Rice at home by 20. Expect same type of result
UAB- 49 SMU- 24

Kansas at UTEP, Over 62, 3 units and KU -11, 2 units
UTEP has the offense to stay in this game as KU's pass D is awful. UTEP's pass D is actually worse 112th in nation in 2008. Reesing should have field day.
Kansas- 52  UTEP- 28

Tenn -8.5, 2 units
Revenge. UCLA QB still a mess. Kiffin wasn't there but wants to show he can put up pts.. Not worried about look ahead since Bruins beat em last year.

Line has jumped 4 pts. Potts is solid, Rice blows this year. Tech can name their score.

Was not impressed with SC. Not that impressed with UGA, but think Richt will have em prepared. UGA D > SC D.

Washington St +3, 2 units, WSU ML Even, 2 units
Line has dropped. Wash St basic home game, played well in loss last week. 350 total yards, 0 TO's. Hawaii played awful against D-II school and doesn't travel well.

Another blow-out of the Sun Belt. ASU should score a TD, but still should be smooth sailing.

Michigan St -14, 2 units
CMU only had 182 total yards to Zona's 448. Should have lost by 21+. Both QB's looked solid for MSU in opener and Spartan D one of best in B10.
MSU- 38 Central Michigan- 17

Tulsa -17, 2 units
NM might be worst team in D-I this year next to New Mexico St. Really impressed with Kinne. Should take it to rebuilding Lobos all game.

La Tech +7.5, 2 unit
Thanks to Navy for keeping it close against OSU. Thanks for LA Tech for fading in the second half. Don't see Tech losing this game by more than TD. Tech finished 5-1 to end LY and has 15 starters returning including 9 on O.

DD dogs in SEC = money. Not quite sold on Auburn yet. MSU has covered last 2 including last year's 3-2 shoot-out

Nice picks...............I might just substitute USC -5 (the line right now at AZ Charlies Boulder) for LA Tech, pass on Mich St and throw $20 on a 10 teamer.........

I absolutely LOVE the Georgia play, South Carolina's offense looked horrible last week, while UGA hung in (for the most part) with OK St

Any thoughts on Clemson/GA Tech??

What I learned Week 2
TJ Yates might be the slowest QB in D-1

As much as we think these guys have improved, Joe Webb and Jonathan Crompton still need tons of work- 7 INT's combined 

La Tech is awful and I'm not sure how they stayed with Auburn for 30 minutes last week

Miss St is awful and I'm not sure how they stayed with Auburn for 29 minutes this week

Yes, Washington St is that bad (7 TO's, Hawaii 626 yards of Total Offense  )

Pick 6's are hard to swallow, thanks Joe Cox...

Finally, it's quite difficult to handicap TO's, no surprise, 0-4 in those games..
