very large play for me.  after seeing penn state's performance against usc, ohio state should not even be allowed to play in this game and t.c.u should get to play again.  ohio state played two tough games this year, they got bitch slapped by usc, and lost at home to that penn state team that just got  rolled for the most part by usc even though the score was closer at the end then the actual game. they scored 6 points on penn state at home, usc scored on penn state like they were special needs.   texas could easily be in the championship game and this will be one pissed off longhorns squad.  mccoy and shipley should score at will on this little 10 defense that is clearly overrated after seeing this conference perform in bowls.  texas 34  ohio state 17

I agree 100%. Due to the Penn State loss I can't help but think Texas should roll tonight. That is of course if they play the way they should and can. let's hope they're interested.

I am not sold on this game yet. You talk about Ohio St getting smoked by USC, yes they did, however that was without Pryor in the lineup, he has a much better presence in the pocket.

Ohio State is bound to run into a bowl game against a team that doesn't play too well.  I think that game is tonight, Texas blows it and Ohio State will capitalize on mistakes.

do u think texas will come to play or do u think theyll lay down after not getting to bcs chip after beatin the sooners.......i might have to stay away from this one kind of reminds of cal with rodgers a few years back gl with ur pick

also why is everyone talking about how bad texas' defense is? they only gave up 18 ppg in the run and gun high scoring big 12  thats god dam impressive when you face oklahoma, okie state, texas tech, and missouri 4 weeks  in a row... shit they beat kansas 35-7 on the road .. did you see what kansas did to that big 10 team the gophers...

texas gave up 18ppg in one of the highest scoring conf. in football, im not sure what else they could do besides that...

However, Just look at Texas pass Defense and pts defense
USC didnt have that, neither did PennState when OSU played them.Seems to me when you have a team that goes up against some of the better Defenses in the country of course they are going to have problems scoring...Go up against a team with the 110th ranked pass D......things could change.Could be why Tressel is implementing this wide open scheme? Who knows

They held the Sooners to 35,that is 21 below what they averaged....They are bitter,By the way Pryor did play versus USC,not that it would have mattered....The Horns will roll..34-13..

No doubt Texas wins this game. IMO the best team in the BIG 12. Longhorns one and only loss was a on TT's best showing of the year. The Catch with the Big 12 is simple, Score with or more than these teams and they become avg. BIG 12 D's look somewhat good on Paper cause of these stats.(having the lead alot) Really this is one of  the Key Factors for OSU keeping this one close, If the buckeyes can score  it might end up being a decent game, if they choke on Offense they are Toast. Texas will score points.  I'm personally not totally sold on the Texas blowout idea, It is a high possibility though.  Hard to judge the intensity and focus of these players until the 2Qs into alot of these bowl games. GL tonight Bad, you've had a amazing Bowl run.
