I've read from Hawaii backers about how Hawaii plays at home, well I got 2 words: Washington ST.
This Hawaii team isn't the same as years past. Last year they averaged 40+, this year mid 20's. All this while playing some of the worst D's in the country.
Hawaii keeps it close but that's about it:

I took the Syracuse game into consideration but when you compare the schedules ND has a huge edge. Would Hawaii even be bowl eligible if they played ND's schedule? Probably not.
People seldom realize ND plays one of the toughest schedules every year. Few college programs could compete for a national championship playing their schedule. It's the price they pay for being greedy and wanting all the television money to themselves.

Nothing is a lock in sports betting but you have to decide where to invest your money. Chosing between Hawaii and ND I'd rather invest my money in a team who has battled a tough schedule with better athletes. That's ND tonight.

Name one LEGIT team that they beat this year? Navy was by far their best win and they aren't very good to begin with.
lets see who else they beat... 2-10 san diego state, at home 3-9 michigan, at home 4-8 purdue, at home 5-7 stanford, at home 0-12 washington, on the road
so they won 6 games, four of which are at home against teams with a combined record of 14-34 and then a win less Washington team, and navy who is decent.
they did play some decent competition but fell short every time. by 16 to michigan state, by 5 to UNC, by 3 to PITT, by 17 to BC, by 1 to syracuse, at home who finished 3-9
Overall the combined records of ND's opponents is
71 - 75 with their top 3 opponents being USC Pitt Michigan State Average Margin of loss 22.67
I just think that Hawaii could have been bowl eligible if they played notre dame's schedule. I see them beating at home SDSU, Michigan, Purdue, Stanford, and Syracuse. And then beating Washington on the road to put them at 6-6

I will add that if this game wasn't on the island I would agree with you but something about playing in Hawaii makes this team play better. Any road loss by this team shouldn't really be considered because they are essentially playing a home game and do not have to fly a thousand miles to play across 3 or 4 time zones

Still no play for me yet, but a very strong lean to UH because of the home filed, they are a different animal when playing on the island and this is their boiwl. They played Cinn tough last game of the year and probably shouldve won that game. I think the island gods play a factor in this one Ill gladly take the points after my Boise cover last night. I don't believe even at home this hawaii team beats Purdue, Michigan or Stanford. These aren't WAC teams they are legitimate schools. If you look at the computer models Michigan and Hawaii are about even. Hawaii would be an underdog to Stanford and Purdue.

I agree. Both Hawaii's O-line and D-line will get dominated by the size of ND. Sure, they got speed, but for some stupid reason, the Irish will have this game figured out. That and the line moved to the rainbows as dogs so that everyone can pound them. Notre Dame wins this by a TD.
