On the surface, the over tonite seems like a good play, but...
1)...it is an extremely important game within conference (some smash-mouth football to be expected, perhaps a tendency twrd the conservative- control the clock + line of scrimmage, AND avoidance of the big mistake)
2)... other than last year, this matchup tends toward lower scoring games. and
3)... I almost always look for a justification to play Tues Under, as Tuesday night has a serious bias thereto.
oh, and I guess
4)... # 3 should act as a disclaimer for #'s 1 and 2
no play for me yet... wanna watch what public will do and how that O/U line reacts. But I start CF Tuesday with a lean (bias) twrd the under.
As of now 62% on Over... O/U Line at Pinny opened at 48.5 and has risen to 51.5.
And FYI.... 78% on Troy. Opened -3.5 and lingering at Pinny, but other books have raised it to 4, and even 4.5.
Sorry about takin up so much of your thread space...

BOL bud... on FAU as well, but leaning the under... my initial lean was over the total but after looking at it, Troy's defense has been blasted by the likes of Ohio St. and Ok St., so their current stats are a bit inflated...
Should be a back and forth type of game.
Good luck as always.

thanks amd, gl to you this week buddy. I want to pull the trigger on Wisconsin however I have a couple of things I am still considering. One being the fact that they are coming off of two very tough last second losses, one on the road at Mich that they gave away and the other a last second come from behind win on national tv against OSU. My feeling is that they are either very fired up to prove to people they are better than that and they come out, execute and win this game outright, or they just can't get up for a 3rd straight big emotion game after two setbacks. I want to get a better feeling about that before I make a play on it. Plus, and I have said it for awhile now, I do not like what I see out of Everidge in the passing game. That scares me.
thanks and gl this week special k...think FAU might win this won outright, just not sure I can ML them again this week like I did last Thurs against MTSU...heartbreaking

I see this game definitely being close tonight. After a tough road loss at MTSU last week, FAU now has to treat this game like it is a playoff game if they are to win the SBC again this year. A loss against Troy and it could ruin the season for FAU. Schnellenberger ripped their ass after MTSU and hopefully that helped with their focus in preparing for this contest. I think they will be excited to get back home, where they only have played one game this year and hung 49 on UAB. Nick Paris returns to C and I think this will definitely help the O-line do a better job this week and give Rusty Smith some time...he had very little against MTSU.
Troy is definitely a talented, athletic team that has played a couple of tough games already. They have a good ATS record as of late, so does FAU, and there is no question they will give FAU all they can handle. However, this will be their 3rd straight road contest and that is always tough to overcome for any team. I believe FAU will be play with a little bit more desperation and the home crowd will help put them over the top with a last second FG. I know I played them ML last week and got stung, but what the hell it might be worth a shot again 27-24 FAU...
