Had a great week last week, looking to continue the success. Here's my early thoughts and leans for the games this weekend.
North Carolina +5 @ Rutgers
Must admit this is somewhat of a degenerate pick, as it's the only game on Thursday, but I like the athleticism that North Carolina has. Butch Davis has recruited well (better than Rutgers) and I think they have the athletes on both sides of the ball to compete with the Scarlet Knights, who looked awful and outclassed at home last week against Fresno.
South Florida -3.5 vs. kansas
I'm not even gonna fake objectivity here, I fucking hate k"u" and everything about or involved with them. I also love making money at their expense, and I see an opportunity to do so here. Neither USF or k"u" have looked very impressive so far, but UCF is a better opponent than LaTech and I think that USF got caught looking forward to this matchup. I love the matchup of USF's veteran DE's (especially Selvie) against k"u"'s two freshman tackles. k"u"'s running game has looked awful against worse competition this year, and with no running game to speak of, Sodd Reesing will be running for his life all night.
BYU -8 vs. UCLA
UCLA is getting too much credit for beating Tennessee. Tennessee's offense is pathetic compared to BYU's. Add to that going up into the Utah Mountains and a BYU team that will be anxious to prove that it's better than it showed last week, and I don't see UCLA keeping this one close.
South Carolina +7 vs Georgia
This line makes no sense. A 1-1 team that just lost to Vandy taking on the #2 team in the nation who's coming off an absolute throttling of a solid MAC squad, and they're only catching a Touchdown? I like Smelley as a QB, and I'm not sold on Stafford or UGA's young OL. I like the Cocks to keep this close.
Central Michigan -3 vs Ohio
Despite last week's whipping at UGA, CMU is the best team in MAC, IMO. Ohio is overvalued here b/c of the close game they played with OSU last week. I think that game was more about OSU not being great than it was about OU being pretty good. I like Dan Lefevour to lead his team to victory here.
Georgia Tech +7 @ VTech
I'm a fan of this GTech option attack. I think it's gonna grind a lot of clock and keep them in a lot of games. I haven't seen anything from VTech to make me think that they can pull away from the Jackets here. VTech's offense looks awful this year, and has since the Orange Bowl last year. GTech is a lot better than Furman.
Auburn -10 @ Mississippi State
Auburn's defense is too good. MSU could only manage 14pts in Week 1 against a mediocre La Tech defense, and this Auburn unit is much stronger. Auburn believes they have a legitimate shot to win the SEC, and they will take care of business in Starkville.
Arizona St -22 vs UNLV
I think I'm gonna ride ASU til they throw me. I really like the offense behind Rudy Carpenter, and they got better as the game went on last week against Stanford. UNLV got rolled at Utah last weekend, and I don't believe they have the horses to keep up with ASU either.
That's what I've got so far this week. Feedback is requested and much appreciated, let's work together to stick it to the man.

I'd like people's thoughts on the following games....
Michigan State -17 vs FAU
FAU's terrible, right?
Rice +7 @ Vanderbilt
The line has dropped 1.5pts despite 80% of the action being on Vanderbilt. What's going on here?
Notre Dame vs. Michigan
Will this be the worst, most boring suckfest of the year? I don't know, 'cause I won't be watching or betting on this piss-poor matchup of over-covered garbage.
