Most of my fellow Covers.com degenerates should know me as an unconventional guy. Besides using the conventional stats, trends and situational (weather, umpires, streaks, stadiums) handicapping factors i also employ esoteric techniques like biorhythms and ephemeris astrology.

Wierd trend of the year: When 2 starting pitchers have the same letter in their first name, take the road team.
Given this situation, since the All-Star Break, if you'd wager on the road team, you would have gon 14-5.
