First of all dugout before you even begin gambling you must have a few items already in place otherwise the odds will be against you to win in the long long long long run. You must have a bankroll the larger it is the better off you are, then you must have some sort of system you follow and lastly you must be very disciplined in following your system that you have developed for yourself. Now to get a feel for gambling check out my daily posts that I have here . Don't follow my plays or wager amounts but check it out for a while then you will see the pattern or the system I have establish and get an idea what I do to make money in the long long long long run. You could go to my thread and ask me questions if you like.

You help him discover the wonderful world of gambling. Tell him all about odds, line moves, etc etc etc Be sure to mention ALL the pitfalls. The lessons that can ONLY be learned through experience. I've done this before but they don't listen 9 out of 10 times. The best advice I could give him is to NOT gamble. Period! I was doing him a favor. I am not the old man hanging out by the store wanting new blood to hang out with. One can learn alot by shutting his mouth and watching what's going on. If the simple basics escape you - you are either way too young to gamble or too dumb,

" - Why don't you go into more detail, this is very generalized - You are a progressive bettor are you not - basically you chase- that's cool whatever works for you. But you understand odds and percentages and the law of averages, The basics of gambling. The basic premise is nothing lasts forever, like gravity, what goes up must come down. Discipline is the only thing you said that's worth a shit. I hate systems. They suck. They are no fun. And they really suck hard when they aren't working. There is more than one way to win at this game. You gonna teach him every facite or just yours. I prefer to let him find out on his own what works for him.
I've seen you before talk about a 20 unit bankroll with each unit weighed at around 5%. I prefer a 33 to 50 unit starting bankroll with each unit weighted at 3% to 2 %. Because if you start out cold most gamblers tend to sweat and freak when their cash is low. More bounce back room. Are you goin to teach him about the mental aspect as well? Good luck! Experience is the best teacher and if it teaches him not to gamble all the better I say. This is a vice! And like smoking one I would not encourage youngsters to pursue! I am already hooked and addicted but I don't look up to the one who gave me my first cigarette!
