Hey everyone,

My deepest apologies for not being here for the Indians/Sox game. I woke up too late today and was held up going to the store and bank. These things should never happen but sometimes they are unavoidable.

Anyway, had another nice day yesterday but that apparently was not sufficient enough for one user who railed on me for not adding my totals record to my unit count. Sort of like calling out Indiana's old dominant basketball teams because of their poor football program. But, I did mean to eventually add the totals back to my record, so I'm doing that today. I will most likely not post any totals the rest of the year but I did post the plays earlier this year so they should be reflected.

I need to get cracking on the Rangers/Rays so good luck to all.

I know you have been doing great, but the guy asked why your record didn't reflect certain picks.  Now you are making a huge deal of it by calling him out in your posts.  No were did he say you were not having a good run or anything like that.  An accurate record is a big deal to a lot of people on here and not so much to others.  YOU are blowing it way out of proportion.  You fixed it, just move on.

I've got to coach a little league game when you'll be posting your 7:00-ers, so I hope to make it home in time for the later ones. 
 
As for the little league game, I'm taking the White Sox (5-2, on a two game win streak) to beat a nine-year-old-laden Angles squad which peaked in mid-May.  Lay the -142 and play it under 14.5.

Once we clear 1,000,000 units, you should probably be able to lay down for an iPhone so you don't miss these plays.

Is Soriano in the outfield? I'm thinking under but if I say anything, that 250-pound 4th grader is probably going to clear the pine trees beyond the 300-foot sign to spoil it in the 9th.

Do you know that Soriano "catch" cost me like $600?  I didn't know it at the time, but that was the first game of what would have been a five-team parlay that otherwise hit.   Frankly, going 12-1 with you since (I actually played the Angels last night  - I always bet Sanata at home at night - it's just a rule) has softened that blow. 
 
My son's team is really good, though he's just kind of along for the ride.  I'm pretty sure their top four starters are better than the Rangers' starters.

Lanny - As another poster has said in this thread, this should be a dead issue. I asked a question, you gave a song and dance, but eventually posted your real record, which is all I asked.

So please stop taking pot shots here and there. And comparing it the Indiana basketball/football programs might be the dumbest analogy I have ever heard, and it is further proof of you being insecure and trying to deflect attention off of the fact that you were posting a fake record. You now have the real record posted which is all I asked, so let' move on.


And I wish you the best of luck today. And judging by the sick run you have been on I hope you are the same plays that I am today.

The analogy was a great one. The point I was trying to make is yes, I had shitty totals but they hold no relevance to my successful money line and run lines, which is all I have been playing and all I will be playing.

I have been a poster around here for a long time and anyone that knows me will attest to my honesty and credibility. I never hid my totals or disguised them or anything. I was always honest about what I lost but it seemed pointless to post what I wasn't even playing any more.

Be that as it may, they are reflected in the record now. I will stop taking shots as long as you stop insulting me and offering backhanded compliments. I'm ready to smoke a peace pipe and move on.

Deal. Although I must add that my compliments are not backhanded but are completely sincere. You've been on a hell of a run and I wish you continued success, just that you keep an accurate record.
