Rockies series bettors, kiss your money good-bye. At best, the series will go 4-1 with a Rockies win over Daisuke Matsuzaka.
 
I wish i'd post this sooner, but i was so busy handicapping the upcoming NCAAF and NFL games, and i rarely post any if at all in the MLB section.
 
Here's a retread of what i've posted in my thread from the NCAAF section:
 
I'll use tonight's Colorado Rockies and Boston Red Sox game as a example of how i handicap games. Besides looking at stats, trends and the situations involved, i attempt to predict how the players will perform in the game.
 
First i take a look at their biorhythm charts.
 
 
 
Jeff Francis's grade based on his chart: C+/C
 
Josh Beckett's grade based on his chart: B-/C+/C
 
As you can see, both pitcher's charts are in the negative phase, indicating a possible poor performance. Although a slightly better grade for Beckett as he's the pitcher with post-season experience.
 
Next, i take a look at their astrological aspects reading. This part is very esoteric so... if you're already confused, that's okay.
 
Jeff Francis's aspect reading:
 
Mars[square]Jupiter - unlucky/bad aspect
Mars[square]Saturn - unlucky/bad aspect
 
Josh Beckett's aspect reading:
 
Sun[trine]Venus - lucky/good aspect
Sun[sextile]Jupiter - lucky/good aspect
 
Mars = Energy & Passion
Sun = Vitality
Venus = Money & Love
Saturn = Status, Career & Limitations
Jupiter = Expansion & Success
 
Jeff Francis's adjusted grade: C-/D-
Josh Beckett's adjusted grade: B+
 
With this information at hand, i deem a Red Sox Moneyline to have tremendous value, even at a 2:1 payout ratio. A C-/D- grade for Jeff Francis is really bad; he's going to get pelted. Thus a Red Sox RunLine wager also offers a lot of value.

COL: U. Jimenez (4-4, 4.28) predicted performance = B-/C+
BOS: C. Schilling (9-8, 3.87) predicted performance = A-/B+
 
 
 
Game 3
BOS: D. Matsuzaka (15-12, 4.40) predicted performance = B-/C+
COL: J. Fogg (10-9, 4.94) predicted performance = B-/C+
 
 
Game 4
BOS: J. Lester (4-0, 4.57) predicted performance = B/B-
COL: A. Cook (8-7, 4.12) predicted performance = C+/C
 
 
 
Game 3 is very winnable for the Rockies as Daisuke is a walk machine. But i'll still wager on the BoSox MoneyLine (especially as an underdog) as this will be Daisuke's last chance to redeem himself before taking a winter vacation in Japan.
 
Game 2. I think Jimenez have only been to Fenway once. And Schilling is a fixture there. I'll take this no-brainer wager any day despite the price.
 
Game 4. If Daisuke is at least decent and the BoSox bats stays hot in Game 3, this one will do it as i think Lester can close it out.
 
If not...
 
Game 5
BOS: J. Beckett (20-7, 3.27) predicted performance = B/B-
COL: J. Francis (17-9, 4.22) predicted performance = B-/C+
 
 
Beckett picks up a bad aspect as Venus[conjunct]Saturn, but his biorhythm chart begins to creep up to the positive side. I dropped his rating down a notch from what he got in Game 1 as he's working in hostile territory this time around. He's only 4 years removed from a post-season championship win and his experience will come through once again.
 
I'll be wagering on the Red Sox MoneLine for all of the games.
 
Take this info however you want. You don't have to believe in biorhythm and astrology or whatever. Maybe its just all coincidence. But it will not be a coincidence as the Boston Red Sox wins another World Series and join their brethren sportsmen known as the Patriots in attempting to build a dynasty.

after last night's performance why does beckett's grade lower to B for game 5?
 
i guess he had already earned his A for last night's "prediction"? too late to give him his B?

I don't agree with HK's methods,but he has produced winners in football. Those unfamiliar with his methods don't realize that his grading system is NOT based on the talent of the players, but on their personal "rythems".
