Just curious what your angle is here? Mets have lost 6 or 7 in a row. Jon Niese got rocked in his last start. Cards are a way better team at home and Wainwright has been lights out.

Niese has a pretty good record against STL. Will come out of his shell to stop the sweep (in my humble opinion).

There is a possibility that Niese is hit up for 8 runs himself. He gave up 8 runs in 4.1 innings in his last outing vs Pits and 7 runs in 4 innings his previous game before that against Atlanta. He has a 9.60 ERA in his last 3 games and 8.40 ERA away. He also has a 5.88 ERA during the day.

On the other hand the Mets play well against Wainwright however they (Mets) are hitting just .176 against righties in their last 10 games which supports your under pick...

It's tough to base it off of those things alone. We would be interested in the team total for St. Louis when it is released

although neise holds a 1.83 ERA 2-1 i believe in 19.2 innings with 20 K....Waino holds a 7.90 ERA 1-3 in 26 inn...

Great the hear everyone&#39;s opinion. I  am aMets fan and have bet the Cards RL the last 3 games. Gotta go with my instinct here. Wainwright has another good game and the Mets lose again. Good luck everyone!!
