Moving right along with
the Nationals at a price right where I expected them to be. The over is
still valid... This is the last game of the series and I think that the
Nationals run away with it from the offensively deficient Dodgers.
Greinke is back... A little too soon in my opinion.
Greinke was supposed to be out for eight weeks and he is back three weeks early. I am not on the inside circle but a broken collar bone for a pitcher seems like a major problem (no matter if it is on the pitcher arm or not). Personally and unfortunately for Greinke he gets rocked tonight. It will take time for him to get back mentally and physically... tonight is not where it happens (especially against a hungry young Nationals team.)
Oh and let us not forget about Mr. Ross Detwiler. He has a 2-3 record (in his 5 decisions) and an ERA of 2.53. Ross is pitching below his career average of 3.61 and is doing his job. He is doing his job where the Nationals have no when Detwiler is on the mound. Washington has averaged just 2.2 runs a game in Detwiler's "decision" starts. The upside you ask? Ross's last outing was solid. Washington scored seven and beat up on the Cubs. The Cubs are not a powerhouse, however. The win is a mental confidence boost going into the Dodger's game tonight. When Detwiler receives his run support tonight the Nationals will get the win. I am not going to predict the score... I am going to say that the over hits and the Nationals walk away from Hollywood with a nice series win as an underdog all three games.

Here we go with another new series. Actually two new series. Today I like two dogs and one of them is a huge dog. I like the Padres and the Mets. I am going to take the money line and run line on both games. I want Volquez and Niese to have big games for me and I want to make back a couple of those units lost on the Nationals.
The Nationals by the way look like a bunch of five year old kids that complain every time someone touches them. In their case they keep getting 'hurt' by whatever injury they want to make up. Frankly, I am so sick of people saying injured oblique this and oblique that. The oblique muscles are your the freaking muscles on the side of your abdominal muscles! Unless, they are referring to the oblique arytenoid muscle in the neck which I doubt a single announcer on earth knows what that is. I can go run a damn 12 mile Tough Mudder or Spartan Race or any number of mud races with a torn external or internal oblique abdominal muscle. So, do not give me this crap about injuries in baseball unless they have a freaking bone stuck out of one of their appendages. *End Rant*
New York Mets +1.5 -105 1 units
New York Met +215 .5 units
San Diego Padres +141 2 units
San Diego Padres +1.5 -125 1 unit
Best of Luck,
WD
