Just finished up a grueling 8-hour take home final. First year of law school is mercifully complete. Only two long years left. Looking forward to spending some more time watching baseball in the next few weeks.
Anyway... San Diego +108 (1 unit) Advanced numbers say Wood is in line for serious regression. He's dominant (career .206) against lefties but faces an all-righty lineup today for San Diego. Meanwhile, Stults' peripherals look great (7.0/1.3 K/BB) but he's been relatively unlucky with the low number of stranded runners. Think he gets a favorable matchup here against a team of free-swingers. Tampa TT Over 3.5 +100 (1 unit) Speaking of luck, Santana is stranding 90% of runners. Ninety freaking percent. I'll take a shot here against him with a Rays lineup that has picked it up recently and has a bunch of guys with success against Santana. Marquez' smallish zone behind the plate is nice, too. Not sure they'll even get this one in with the weather.
GL fellas.

Jon - are you posting here regularly? I don't recall seeing you post 69 plays in April and I follow you religiously on chirp-chirp site (at jonfendler). Am I missing something as I LOVE reading your stuff and want to make sure I am looking at the right places. (And maybe I missed all the Apr plays).
Good luck!!!

Can't say I'll post every day, but probably most.
A lot of the April stuff was posted on CTG. Nice site, but I find the format and interface on here easier to use. There's a ridiculous amount of BS with the wanna-be touts and crying children, but I suppose it comes with the territory.
