Yup Im taking the Rockies. On my birthday I went to Mt Airy Lodge in Pa and won me some decent bucks for the first time in forever. So for only the second time this year Im giving you TWO teams and they will both go over. The other thread has the Brewers and now after thinking about it im ready to place my wager on the Rockies. I really like this one.
1st Base- Tyler Colvin. It could be Helton to start but sooner or later they will turn to Colvin. HE has good power and can hit for a good average. Expect 20 Hr and around 80 rbi out of the first base position.
2nd baseman- Josh Rutledge. He may be the next great Rockie hitter. HE has tremendous upside playing in Colorado. Has good power for a MI. Expect 18-23 hr and around 70 rbi
SS- Troy Tulo If he can stay healthy for the whole season I seriously think the Rockies could win 80 games. assuming he does stay around all year expect 30-100
3rd base- Chris Nelson/ Jordan Pacheo/ Nolan Arenado. I love Arenado. He seems like another Alex Gordon with quicker development. either way I think you will get a high average and maybe 15 hr and 70 rbi
OF- Carlos Gonzalez. Easily a top 10 player in fantasy baseball and a guy who will steal quite a few bags and hit around 25-30 Hr and drive in over 100
OF- Michael Cuddyer. He starts earning his money this year and goes back to 20 HR and 80 rbi
Of- Dexter Fowler. I love this kid but he doesnt do anything great just everything above average. He will hit maybe 15-20 Hr steal 20 bags and drive in around 70 runs
Catcher. Will Rosario. Hit 27 home runs as a rook last year and will hit a few less this year as pitchers adjust. But you can expect 23-28 HR and 70 rbi
Here comes the problem. the SP
SP- Jorge Delarosa first full year back from injury. He was progressing well before that and I think he has a banner year. Expect 15-17 wins and an era around the low 4s
SP- Johoulys Chacin- Was off to a great start in the first half of 2011 but he regressed since then. I think he will pitch way more to his potential this season. Dont expect the world but I think 12-14 wins is reasonable.
SP- Jaun Nicasio- Has decent potential. To win this wager he needs to have a very good year. Expect on the high side around 11-13 wins and a mid 4 ERA
SP- Jeff Francis- if he can keep them in games and eat some innings he will have done his job. Expect 8-11 wins and a low 5 era
SP- Drew Pomeranz/ Jon Garland. They suck but Drew has some good upside. He needs to just eat some innings and keep his era in the low 5s
Bullpen- 4 members of the pen had a sub 4 era last season while being overworked. Betancourt should hold onto the job for a full season.
Well there you have it. Im taking the Rockies OVER 70.5. I know they only won 64 games last season but that makes me like this more than I should. I think if everything goes right with the SP they could win 80-83 games. im 7-0 and its a feat im very proud of so if any of you are looking at a total please ask me and ill give you my opinion. I would def unload on this one. By the way the Brewers are looking alot better now with Loshe in the rotation.

You picked up a little steam on the Brewers with Lohse signing. That one is looking better. This one I honestly can't see but it is a long season, who knows? Maybe.

I cant see how the As win over 85 games. I just think they stepped in garbage last year. I Love Moss and I like the SP but that really it after maybe Cespedes. Give them 81-84 wins but dont touch it with a ten foot pole. Way better plays out there. The Marlins are going to suck but you never know. We all thought the As were bad last year and look what they did! Stay away from these two teams. If I had to take one id go with Miami. They do have good young players in the pipeline.

What a great start for my second teams bet. Brewers won 7 in a row and the Rocks are 13-5 cant ask for much more than that. I know iom going to burn for this but im not worried about the Rockies bet at all. Never really was. I am worried bout the brewers tho.
