Hello Brothers
May We ALL LIVE IN FANTASTIC HEALTH

had an excellent Run in Football , ending with a near Double Up in the Super Bowl

Time to withdraw from 5 dimes and leave close to a Grand for Futures ...

Did pretty well in MLB futures last season with the REDS winning the central and the Nats winning the East as Big winners ...

Below are squads I Like this season ... What ya Think

Many thanks in advance

Current teams I am leaning on

Cincinnati Reds ... nice Payoff last season to win central. . Love them this season . NOT happy with the -105 to win the division currently offered . Hoping for a Season Win total in the low 90's, then again the Astros are gone ..

Tampa Bay Rays     Everyone and their Grandma is jumping on the Jays Bandwagon . Should get some better value from my Local who will get loads of Yankees Homer action ... Hoping for +450 to win the Division..

Philadelphia Phillies    Looking for a bounce back .. Likely just betting a season win total OVER if 84 or less .

Arizona Diamondbacks   Love the IF , Maybe the Giants hit the banquet circuit too hard ?? Want more than the +575 to win the West currently Offered

Per Covers, Atlantis Casino in Reno posted season W/L totals today. Some of the ones that caught my eye on first glance:

Braves Over 86 - I've hammered this prop the last two years at this exact number, with the Upton additions this year and another strong rotation, no reason why this one won't cash by mid-September.

Twins Over 64.5 - A lot of winnable games in that division IMO, I see this group getting to 70 wins at least.

Indians Under 77.5 - Just not drinking the Kool-Aid on this club yet, even with the recent additions.

Thoughts?

My first thoughts is that Braves total seems awfully low. Won't be surprised if it opens quite a bit higher at other books. Full year of Medlen plus the Upton brothers should only benefit them. Not to mention they expect Beachy to return at some point. Is Philly a contender? Yes but they have quite a few question marks. Is Washington a contender? Yes but they seem like they will be overvalued and really have only shown us 1 good season. Atlanta will display a lineup that 2-6 should hit 20+ HR each and a rotation that will be very strong. Like over 86 here for sure.

Twins total seems quite low but they are by far the worst team in that division after KC and Cleveland made huge improvements this year. Considering they only won 64 games last year in a season that saw Detroit struggle until late I think it's a no play for me. KC/Cleveland both have potential to win some ball games.

Cleveland should surprise a lot of people this year but it's certainly hard to justify betting the over there with a rotation that is a total landmine. No doubt they made a lot of moves to improve and Francona is a great manager but when your rotation features Masteron and Jimenez as your best guys I struggle to take the over. Are they a sleeper team for me this year? Absolutely they are because if Bauer develops, Masterson/Jimenez return to form, we could see a wilcard contender.

Ultimately I like that I see someone not pounding over 95 on Toronto or Los Angeles, I'm glad there is still a few realists around. Really like that Atlanta play at first look and would have to dig deeper into the other two to better talk about it.

Benny, great insight

Another point that's gonna make me max bet that Braves total is the two bottom feeders in the division. The Marlins should be horrid, and the Mets would expected to be slightly better than last year (but that's not saying too much obviously). Atlanta should be able to string together some W's against those two clubs.

I love KC as a sleeper (although many will probably call them their sleeper, so not a big shock this year), but I think they were at 77. Anything in the 70-74 range I would have hammered an over, but just don't think I can pull the trigger there and hope they have a .500 season.

Teams I am Looking to bet the Season wins Under on

Colorado Rockies
Think the rest of the division is light years ahead , ok not the Padres , But I think this will be a Tough year in Denver

Florida Marlins
What's left ??? Why did they ever put this team here ..No Stars , No Fans , Not many wins

NY Yankees
So many Questions . Love that MY local will have this total inflated , Online books should as well .The rest of the AL East looks improved , ok not the O's ...

Doubleup4life, I was liking Boston over 79.5.  Bullpen is solid.  Getting Lackey back and picked up Dempster.  Contract year for Ellsbury.  What do you think?

I Like Over 79.5...Just do NOT think we will see that number so low when the online and other majority of sports books release their odds ...I am guessing the total say ***81.5-84.5 !!!

Putting in my First Bets

Cincinnati Reds to win NL Central -110 (local)
$440 to win $400
I see it's already jumped to -130 on 5 dimes ..Jumping on now after it opened at -105.

Atlanta Braves to win NL EAST +225 (local)
$200 to win $450
Nats seem Overrated coming into the season .

*many more to follow (waiting on Season win totals

Rockies have weak starting pitchers but are very solid in the lineup and bullpen.  At least average, and the lineup could be special if Tulo and Cargo have big years, and Fowler, Pacheco and Cuddyer can all get on base.  Wilin Rosario hit a quiet 28 HR LY.

Like that Braves Over 4 sure ... Right now I have them winning 90+ most of the time ...

However I don't have a good read on the AL Central YET... The Tigers and Then what ?? I liked the Royals last season , and they let me down .. have they improved ?  ...

NOT sure about the Tribe or Twinkies ... Minnesota total does seem a tad Low though

Best of Luck brother ... sorry i did not respond earlier

Rockies are also going non-traditional with their starting pitching.  Only 75 pitches then the bullpen comes in.

AL is not really my thing, but the White Sox are probably the second best team in the Central.

Rizzo is a good prospect, and so is Castro.  I like Samrdjia quite a bit.  The rest of the roster does not look good to me.  GArza is hurt already.
