Cardinals ML (&#x2B;129)Cards show up to play in elimination games, which is where I think they play the best ball on both sides. I honestly don&#x27;t trust Cain in this position even though he has had a good season and is pitching at home. Lohse should be more than fired up for this one and feel he carries this Cards team to the World Series.

Anything can happen but with this momentum and the reasons you listed above I&#x27;d make this bet every time.  RK does great work but I&#x27;ll also be on the Giants here.  The Giants can hit Lohse.  No Holliday today either.  As long as Cain doesnt pitch Carpenter fastballs the ball should stay in the yard.  This Giants crowd is like no other and the players feed off this which gives the Giants another advantage.  This pitching staff also feeds off each other, Zito started it and Cain will finish it tonight.

last night i was thinking giants, but i think u are correct RK, the cards will take this one. this is the most rain we have had in the bay area all baseball season, the bad weather will favor the road team who is more accustomed to dealing with the inclement weather. that and all the reasons u stated, i like the cards taking on detroit in a rematch of 2006.

Those game 7 stats are relevant to the Cardinals current team and management. They get it done when it counts and with their backs to the walls. Giants play is very enticing considering the last two games, but I&#x27;ll back the better team in a one game situation. BOL to you Giant backers

The current Giants team and management account for 0 of those losses.The relevant stat you posted was that the Cards are undefeated in elimination games dating to last year (duh, they won the WS). &#xD;&#xA;Giants are undefeated in elimination games this postseason, going 5-0.  &#xD;&#xA;They did something thats never been done in NLDS history coming back 0-2 against a team that didnt lose 3 straight at home ALL YEAR.  &#xD;&#xA;Id say thats pretty meaningful as well.  Especially considering all this has all happened in the past 3 weeks....the game 7 stat...no so much.&#xD;&#xA;BOL tonight though.  should be a great game
