I think it was Docdulac who mentioned in today's thread that the Reds haven't lost 3 consecutive games at home once this year. Well there's always a first time and low and behold they're going to lose their 3rd consecutive home game in bombarded fashion this afternoon to the SF Giants. Strange as it seems however, one or two missed calls by an inconsistent umpire behind home plate can change the entire pitching dynamics of certain pitchers at the big league level and unfortunately for Cincinnati, Latos in one of those pitchers. Not getting a couple of calls in the 5th inning upset the big prick and sure enough the Giants knocked the piss out of him and his pitches as they crossed home plate six times in the innong to salt this baby away. I can't believe the pitching coach didn't make a trip to the mound to settle him down following the pair of missed calls by the home plate umpire. Then of course that useless tit at SS failed to make what looked to be a routine play which would have and should have cut down the second Giants run at home plate. Ah well, when you can't win one of three games on your home field in the postseason, hell you deserve to R.I.P. anyway. Hats off to Cain & the Giants as they move on to the NL finals.
