I think the Braves/Brewers game will be very high scoring, I would consider the first 5 over 4.5 if you got even money.  That's what my book is offering currently, I placed this wager this afternoon when my first 5 lines first came out.  I'm avoiding the bullpens since obviously the Braves have one of the best and the Brewers have a better BP than people think.

Gallardo struggles against lefties and the Braves have one of the most potent left handed line-ups in Baseball.  I like the way they're built from top to bottom.  I think both SP's are good to give up 2+ runs in the first 5 innings easily.

There's that darn word 'easily'. Has to rank right up there with the 'lock' word. Hope it doesn't play a part in your wager and bol with both plays tonight.

I've been around these parts long enough to know what happens to turds.

They spin around and around...

Until eventually getting flushed down the toilet.

how much attention do you pay attention to prospects, and does it affect your prognostications in september?

You're right!  I should know better.  It will be a battle to get runs off these starters.. who have been so good for so much of the season!
