= *YTD* @ +81.62 unit$
Had one of the best days all year yesterday... went 5-1 collecting +19.36 unit$ overall. Only loser was the Red Sox not scoring 4 or more, but they did win the ball game and had 'em on the moneyline - just a great day overall. Big relief. Which is great because the day prior, I garbage the bed. Up over +80 unit$ for the first time all year. Hope we keep rockin', Thread'ers...

Moving on to the new week...
CURRENT CARD: (Mon. 7/30)
Reds -1 @ -120 = [4U]
> Fade Train Operator of Edison Volquez coming off a Quality Start...
Marlins ML @ +135 = [4U]
> Fade Train Operator of the Monday Braves... just like the Sunday Rockies.
Mets ML @ +185 = [2U]
> Fade Train Operator of the Giants watching the Dodgers run away with the division. I think the Giants will have trouble -vs- the Mets the whole 4 game series. They are lucky they'll be facing Jonathan Sanchez come Friday @ Coors Field.
Brewers/Astros *OVER 8.5* @ +105 = [2U]
> Fade Train Operator of Bum Norris off a Quality Start + Michael Estrada is a handy dandy OVER pitcher. Estrada last 12 starts, 9 have gone OVER. Dating back to last year, the OVER is 8-2 after Bum pitches a Quality Start. I'd take the Brewers RL but I don't want to get greedy. I am thrilled to get this OVER @ +105.
Best of Luck today, Thread'ers.

* I will be LARGE on the OAK/TB *UNDER* on the Night Capper - but won't be locking anything in until an hour before game time. The A's will not be hitting Price tomorrow and the Rays bats aren't hitting at all, really + AJ Griffin is a special, special talent. |

#6 Posted: 7/30/2012 1:46:15 AM Love the Mets pick. I had them circled at +1.5 but you might convince me to grow a pair.

@ Pasteur = that's funny cuz I was going to play the +RL, but I decided to grow a pair. Giants are funking right now. And like I said, I expect them to struggle -vs- the scrappy, road tough, Metropolitans. I'm a sucker for Mets facing Lefties on the road @ some good +value. |

#9 Posted: 7/30/2012 1:51:00 AM @ SJ = yes. True. But no freaking way they should he favored like that after getting swept @ home by the Dodgers. Mets is the play. I like the OVER, too, but the Giants aren't hitting @ the moment.
I wonder where that box dogunder is...

I agree the line is definitely based more on Bumgarners home success rather then an indicator of recent play. The Giants are definitely in a funk and missing Sandoval really hurts us. I would be very surprised if we don't make a move tomorrow or tuesday before the deadline.

#13 Posted: 7/30/2012 2:36:16 AM Wow. You cleaned friggin house yesterday. Thread'ers stock went up 30% in one day. You know your garbage man. I like your thinking for tonight (besides Mets), but you always suprise me. So Mets may actually win.

#18 Posted: 7/30/2012 10:06:29 AM Great job GiL, you deserve one of these
I do have a question for you. I understand playing the -1 gives you a chance to push, but do you think in the long run you might be giving up too much $? I say this because you are turning a +$ wager (if you played -1.5) into -$ wager (by playing -1). |

#23 Posted: 7/30/2012 11:35:29 AM @ Nate = This is a trial and run thing I'm doing with the -1 wagers. I was getting screwed on the RL and wanted to try this method. So far it's working to my advantage. I'm still profiting off it. Not as much as a +RL, but still gaining. In the long run it's a bit safe and less stress and I coming out of pocket to by a new phone or laptop may be cost effective for breaking one of them for Defensive Indifference, friggin over my +RL selection. In this case, I push, and only kick one of my cats. They're tough pussies.
