I mentioned this after they got swept in Pittsburgh and continued to fade them at SF.  No matter what the juice I believe it is worth the play.  They are 9-35 on the road this season and that doesn't seem to be improving anytime soon with the loss of Carlos Lee and possibly Jed Lowrie for the foreseeable future.  I haven't posted any plays except for James McDonald and the Pittsburgh run line on July 2 so I will start this at 0-0 going forward.  I will not be playing the run lines against them because 14 of their road losses have been by one run.  So if you played against them on the -1.5 run line you would have been 21-23 this season.  All plays will be one unit.

For tomorrow...
Padres vs. Astros

Kip Wells (-120) vs. JA Happ

Ahhhh the good ole days of Texas Tech athletics...  That said I met Bobby a true class act, loved the guy and what he did for our program (minus Pat Knight getting fathered into a head coaching gig he was nowhere close to ready for).  Leach was incredible with how he could turn 3 and 4 star recruits into 5 star players in his system I think Washington State made the best decision in their program history since they gave scholarships to Ryan Leaf and Drew Bledsoe.  Billy Gillespie will do big things for us, maybe not next year but definitely by the 2013-14 season.  He will not be looking to spring board to a bigger job elsewhere because he's from the Dallas area and loves Lubbock and the fact that we took a chance on him.  I stopped my donations to our football program because I've been thoroughly disgusted by what Tubs had done with our program.  He hasn't been able to control our players both on and off the field.  We used to be top 25 year in and year out, now the only top 25 we see is in the Fullmer Cup top 25.  On our 4th defensive coordinator in 4 years and hopefully our defense can stop a middle school B team this season.  I have gotten to the point in my sports depression where I began betting on the other team on the money line every game because I would at least be excited about winning money to put me out of the misery of a terrible year.  Hell we had the longest bowl streak in the NCAA until the debacle that was last year.  Who is your college team Cali?

I looked at this play but it's tough to put a dollar on either of these teams. I'll be Padres on the road, but at home, they are miserable. Then again, so are the Stros...Although, I feel more confident with SD's bullpen than I do HOU. Under is worth a look here...

Glad to see you out of the box.

Just one point:  I would guess average odds for -1.5 against Houston are around +130.

So going 21-23 with these odds would turn a (slight) profit not a loss.

Tough loss last night, Padres couldn't throw a strike through the first 5, got out of two bases loaded 1 out jams, but still couldn't muster a run and lost 2-0.  Going to continue this fade throughout the season, the Astros are a professional team and thus are probably not going to lose their remaining road games.  All plays are one unit ($100)

Record fading the Astros on the road: 0-1 (-$100)

Tonight's play:  San Diego vs. Houston

Ross Ohlendorf (-125) vs. Jordan Lyles

I like the idea...Astros are garbage. You risking 100 or to win 100...big difference with juice you will be paying.

Good luck

Risking 100 tonight to win 80, only risking 1 unit ($100) not to win 1 unit.

Lyles goes to 0-7 on the road tonight, nice win... still $20 down but the Pads are about as poor at home as the Stros are on the road so I'll take it!  Record so far fading the Stros on the road...  All plays are one unit.

1-1 (-$20)

Tomorrow's Game
Padres vs. Astros
Richard (-135) v. Rodriguez

Nice job. Made a nice $150 on the Padres tonight. Plus a Cincy win, and I'm up a nice $250 tonight. Take that all day , right???

Looking at PHILLY/LAD under tomorrow.

Nice day Cowboys, I got roughed up by the Mets, Braves and Cards, but was able to pull it even with the Pads, Phills and Orioles over yesterday.  BOL today.

For my road fade, I'm adding another unit on Clayton Richard and the Pads vs. Wandy today.  The line dropped since I played it for a unit earlier so I'm adding another unit to my road fade of the Astros.

Padres v. Astros
Richard (-126) v. Rodriguez

Well the Astros are playing true to form today... Pickoff error on a throw to first, then the throw get's away trying to get the runner going to third from the previous error for a run... lol

Disastros is right. What a sad bunch. The Padres are terrible against Lefties, absolutely abysmal. And they still tore Wandy a new one.

Ya I almost or scratch that, I do feel horrible for the Astros.  I have to listen to their TV crew as I live in Texas and they are on FSN all the time.  Can't decide who has it worse, their AAA players getting crushed night in and night out or their announcers for having to be on the road 80+ games a year watching this joke of a team.
