And we try to apply to the 2h of the MLB season.
1) Do not bet on the Marlins, as long as Heath Bell is the closer. Too much of a liability. I didnt have the marlins tonight, but damnit, I feel for those who did.
2) Do not place so much emphasis on the starting pitching. Must look at bullpens!!!
3) DO NOT play ml's over -150. If you do, find a book that offers -1 lines. I had the NATS -1 at -135 and lost. The one few times that bullpen has imploded (of course I'm on em). Had I played the ml, my loss would have been bigger. But the -1 softened the blow a bit.
4) Don't try to be too cute, betting on shit teams. Sometimes the obvious play is the one to play.
5) Make a list of closers. Who do you not want to be backing? If he makes your list, don't wager on that team..
