He leads the league with 16 or 17. He offers nothing offensively.
No comparison to David Wright, IN ANY WAY. |

#5 Posted: 7/1/2012 9:01:51 PM It can happen to anyone. Usually not 17 times before the All Star break to lead the league.
A .225 average usually doesn't happen to anyone either, ESPECIALLY A LEADOFF HITTER!
You guys must be on the Mets tonight. |

#7 Posted: 7/1/2012 9:02:25 PM He wasn't comparing the two, he was simply stating a fact that it has happened to David Wright in the past, meaning that even the 'superstars' can do it...Therefore it can happen to anyone |

#9 Posted: 7/1/2012 9:03:29 PM You're right...He makes a lot of errors...Perhaps he should be in the minors right now...But he's not worthless by any means. |

#15 Posted: 7/1/2012 9:11:22 PM I'm pretty sure that he's proven that he can throw...Because he wouldn't be where he is now if he couldn't...I love people who are sitting on their computers bad mouth professionals saying they shouldn't play or that they're worthless, etc...It's their job...Everyone makes mistakes at their job, not one person on the earth never makes a mistake...Take a deep breath and relax...If you can do better...Go to a try out and prove it! |

#16 Posted: 7/1/2012 9:15:19 PM what's worse then Dee Gordon is the fact that one of the top pitchers (supposedly) in baseball, Kershaw, has allowed Dillon Gee to reach base in both his at-bats tonight. That to me is pathetic. One time you walk him. No way a pitcher should see four balls, maybe one in an AB. Its a free out. |

as bad as gordon has been, the dodgers aren't a bad bet because of him. they are a bad bet because of kershaw.

this is the most flawed logic ever.
first everyone does make mistakes. he's made the most mistakes in the league. 2nd, he's probably got the worst batting average among every leadoff hitter in the league. so the most mistakes and the worst batting average equals he should not be starting at the major league level.
last, but most importantly is your logic that if i cant do it better, then i shouldn't comment on how bad he does it. this is ridiculous. it would be like saying we shouldnt comment on how bad movies are, because we have never made a movie. or i cant say a restaurant sucks, because i've never had my own restaurant. just because i'm not a professional baseball player, doesnt mean I can't properly grade and analyze their talents or lack thereof. if this was the case, half of your scouts and announcers would be out of jobs, as some of them have never played professional baseball. |

kershaw has let up 1 earned run. it should be 1-1. Gordon is to blame for this game so far. |

HAHAHA...You do know how to read correct?? I never once said you can't comment on how a player is doing...I said that you have no right to call him worthless, or worse as others have...But to use your wording...Worthless...No one is worthless because they make a mistake...THAT is why I say...If you think he's worthless...Go do better...Otherwise...Shut up and make comment on his play...Not the fact that a person is worthless...He's a young up and coming kid for darn sakes...Use your head. |
