#6 Posted: 6/18/2012 8:13:16 PM he became so dominant because he finally released the demons within him after revealing to the world that he had been molested repeatedly as a child... I truly believe this is why he has become so dominant... his mind is now at ease and he can just pitch... as sad of a story as it is, the end of it all; meaning 30 years of silence regarding his childhood nightmares which were a reality, has resulted in one of the best stories in sports in years in my opinion.. i'm pulling for RA, hope he wins the cy young this year... he is a stand up guy and a trooper when it comes to life in general

I just want him to chill out and give up a few runs tonight. I'll think nothing less of him even if he gives up a 3-4 spot. :) |

#15 Posted: 6/18/2012 8:58:41 PM How was the O's team total set at 3 against Dickey? It should have been set at 1.5
These guys won't even score 1 run. All Dickey games should have game totals set at 5.5 or 6 like an NL West game because the guy doesnt give up a run at all. How the game total was set at 7.5 in this game is beyond me. I need to look at Unders for all Dickey games which include both game and team total under. |

POD - BAL/NYM UNDER 7.5 -115
Arrieta might have
finally found something with a stellar 7 inning 1 run performance last
week against pitt. Tonight he faces a mets lineup who couldnt hit a
beach ball this weekend struggling mightily against cincy scoring 5 runs
in 3 games. They failed in every facet of hitting and since most of
these guys havent seen arrieta i dont expect it to be better tonight.
O's went under in all 3 games this weekend and the fact they have a
stellar bullpen makes me like this one even more. On the mets side they
went under the last 2 in the cincy series with awful hitting score 2
runs the last 2 games and 5 all weekend. Luckily for them they have RA
DICKEY on the mound tonight. Dickey has allowed no earned runs in 33
innings which is just ridiculous. In his last 4 starts dickey is 4-0
with a 0.00 era 33 ip 15 hits allowed 0 er 39 strikeouts and 3 walks.
If u count the start before he has 50 strikeouts 4 walks and has allowed
1 earned run his last 5 starts. Under is 4-1 in his last 5 starts and
the only reason it went over last week is cause the mets scored 9 runs. I
see another stellar start by dickey tonight and i see arrieta holding
the mets to 2 or less.
WRITEUP UP ON MY THREAD SINCE LAST NIGHT
