Week 1: +0.7767U
YTD: (5-2)  +0.7767U
ML: (2-1)  +0.4126
RL: (0-0)
Totals: (1-1)  -0.475
Team Totals: (1-0) +0.3846
Parlay: (0-0)
First inning: (1-0) +0.4545
Hammer (2U+): (0-0)

Got off to a good start yesterday, hoping to continue. There's a lot to like tonight. Won't do write-ups every day, but today I've got time so what the hell.

Dodgers +100  1 / 1
(Lilly has pitched well. CarGo absolutely smashes Lilly, but he's the only one on the roster that does. I'll take my chances with Ted. And oh, did I mention the best hitter in baseball is playing in Colorado?)

Mets -130 1 / .7692
(J.A. Happ is the proud owner of a 4.70 ERA / 1.52 WHIP, and is facing a team that (recent past / present) have hit .327 off of him. David Wright has 3HR and 2 doubles off of Happ in 13AB against Happ...I'd say he's got his number. Niese has pitched well, and I'm counting on that to continue. This would have been my first hammer, but I've got another quarter on this in the parlay below, and figure that's enough. Call me conservative).

Twins / Angels O8.5 +100  1 / 1
(Liriano is a gas can, and Williams has a lot of potential to do the same. I'll take my chances with the bats in this one. Plus I like the even odds.)

A's RL +1.5 -140 .5 / .3571
(Call me crazy, but I like this Parker kid. He's played well at every level, and Doubront will give any team a chance to stay in it. I'll take the point and a half for a relatively decent line, if they even play the game [90% chance of rain]).

A's / Red Sox U9 +100  .5 / .5
(I've had a good bit of success going under on games AFTER a team has had a double digit score in the game prior. Don't know what the odds are on this, so call it a hunch. This is also factoring in Parker potentially having a good game, and the A's bats doing just enough to put only a couple of points on the board.)

Giants -143 / Rays -202 / Mets -130 Parlay  .25 / .8737
(Cain vs Mia at home / Matt Moore vs. Noesi and the abysmal Mariners / Mets vs. Happ. Didn't have a Parlay yet, so I've got this out of the way.)

GL to all tonight!

No one in the majors has faced Chacin more than Kemp, who is just 4 for 26 (.154) in their matchups with a homer and eight strikeouts. Chacin has also had his way with Dodgers third baseman Juan Uribe, holding him hitless in 15 at-bats.

The rest of the team is not doing too bad. Take away Kemp (who is a threat for a HR no matter who's on the mound) and Uribe, and you've got a team who is hitting .358 against Chacin.

Twins games are O on 4 of their last 5, Angels games have went over 7 times so far this year. Game has went O in 2/3 games Williams has pitched. If it comes down to the over on this game or a hand-to-hand deathmatch against a thousand wolverines, I'll take the over on this game.

Yep, 10-9 (Haren vs. Liriano) and 6-5 the game before that (Weaver vs. Pavano).

That's for sure, he's under the radar. Need him to work some magic tonight. It would also be nice if some of the big BoSox bats are given a night off against the lowly A's. Gonzo and Ortiz both smash righties, so I'll need an off night from them as well.

You got it Dnak, no rain in the cards, that was an error on my part.

Adding:

Twins / Angels Score in the 1st YES  -104  .5 / .4808

Maybe I've lost it. But these pitchers suck. And check out the last few games with both of these teams...there's no doubt they can make it happen.

The bad news, Coco Crisp is out for the A's. The good news, Coco Crisp is out, because he's only hitting .206 with 4 steals. The OF set of Cespedes, Reddick, and Gomes actually isn't any worse. Gomes still has the shitty average, but at least he has power.

Also good news if you are on the Mets tonight, Schafer is out and Maxwell is in. I like my changes a little better with the 'Stros leadoff man out.
