How do you figure out these grades?

D Lowe an A+?  He's 3-5 with a 4.84 ERA lifetime against the Royals.

Cliff Lee C-?

David Price C-?

It has nothing to do with stats.

It has to do with astrology I'm pretty sure. Bottom line is it may sound silly, but it has actually been extremely effective with the A+/C-.

COOL COLORS = good and/or lucky ratings
WARM COLORS = bad and/or unlucky ratings

A+ versus C- are the best plays. They are rare; only about 45 of those plays last season but those plays hit at over 70%.

By the way I was leaning heavily to the Royals, but thanks to seeing this thread before hand, I decided to pass on it. Just can't bet against the A+/C-.

Yankees seem to look good play according to the B+ (blue) vs C- (red) right?

Good morning, Kane,

very interesting system.

question:  would it be better to go with 5 innings? that is, accounting for pitch counts, is it possible that both/either pitchers are relieved before complete game and so that your system is a better measurement of the first 5 innings?  (i apologize for the too long sentence)
