I am looking to do a challenge where you pick one team to open your parlay and you leave 4 open spots where you make just one pick a day.
I started this yesterday taking AZ +121 which won.
Today as my 2nd leg I am taking......LA Angels -153
Before anyone lectures me how bad the odds are and parlays are for suckers, I do this for fun and the challenge.
What we have here is 3 of the 5 in the book.
Right now with the 3 winners the pay back is 5.94 to 1
The most important game is now left and that is Leg #4. If leg #4 wins we just can't lose.
The odds will be high to make a nice hedge bet to take home a very huge profit no matter what in game 5.
I would've thought there would have been some kind of excitement and following with this topic. Perhaps after a nice win that will change the future topics.

@lastlineofd 5 Dimes and they allow up to 25 open spots. That would be one monster of a challenge. It's hard to win a few in a row nonetheless 25.
@smokebugsy It's going to depend on the odds. I've won a lot of these in past seasons and all it takes is a handful to be ahead the whole season.
@crblahblah Actually the 4th leg is the hardest because when you get to the 5th, you hedge and guarantee a nice pay out.
Let's be super honest they are all hard to get to especially in this day and age of relievers that aren't so reliable. Your starting pitcher goes a solid 8 and the reliever gives it up in the 9th. I am thinking of the BOS/DET game earlier this year with Verlander. Valverde comes in and gives up the runs to tie it and luckily the Tigers won in extras.
Haven't looked at today's card but will scan it brielfy and then relook at it again later.
Early quick scan has it down to 2 teams.... Boston and NYY.
Leaning more towards NYY due to Sabathia success against BAL and NYY overall success in the last few years. The odds move to about 11.8 to 1 with BOS and 10.1 to 1 with Yanks based on current odds. In seeing that the BOS game is 1235PM it's likely going to be the Yanks but not locked in until I do my larger run through of the games.

I am thinking about hedging a little tonight as the buy back is +163
Just having a super hard time in talking myself into doing it with an Oriole team the Yankees and Sabathia have owned.
Only thing that is making me think about it is the first start of the seasons by both pitchers. CC got rocked and JJ did pretty well.

Well it took 10 innings but the Yanks won. That makes Leg 4 of 5 in the books and now we are at a point where we just won't lose.
A hedge was made in Leg 4 but since it was at +163 the payoff on game 5 will still be quite large.
Parlay odds stand at 9.96 to 1 with one final wager to go.
