X, Manassa, d0pebo Kansas City &#x2B;170 (1 unit)This is much more situational than stat-based. Lots of emotion for the Angels last night with Pujols&#x27; debut, Morales&#x27; return, and the excitement of the 8th inning outburst in the home opener. I&#x27;m expecting a kind of flat team turning around 14 or so hours later to play an early afternoon game against a pitcher they&#x27;ve dominated in the past.

Hey GH,I&#x27;m on the under for a few reasons. One is Eric Cooper behind the plate - he had the 2nd highest strike percentage in baseball last season (64.4%). Another is Dickey&#x27;s success at Citi Field and against many of the Braves big bats. Uggla (0/21), McCann (3/14), Prado (2/17), and Bourn (5/21) have all had major trouble with him in the past. I&#x27;m a little nervous about Jurrjens after a bad Spring, but he&#x27;s usually much better in the early parts of the season than the latter. I probably also value the Mets bullpen a little more than most, and the Braves bullpen is obviously as solid as any in the bigs. Cool day in NYC probably keeps the ball in the park, although the moved-in fences make Citi easier on hitters than it&#x27;s been in the past.Good luck today buddy

I will say, though, I&#x27;m concerned about Dickey&#x27;s struggles in cold weather. Very hard to grip that knuckler in the early months of the season.

Interesting counter argument. I leaned the other way. Jurjjens seems to be struggling and looked bad in ST and Dickey is a slow starter and not good in the cold like you said. Despite Cooper's strike percentage, he is 50-44 UNDER the L3 years and I still like the fact that the fences are moved in at Citifield.

I would only play that Mets under,hate those juiced overs,always make me wonder when they wont move the line,not playing it but some over love in here,but your the first under Ive seen,think its the play but couldnt do it for reasons you mentioned.
