wtf, Oakland and Seattle 2   regular season games  in Japan, then the teams has to go back to spring training games

now a St.Louis/Miami 1 game series on Wednesday, are they trying to show off the new Miami Park on national television


cant wait until Thursday

I can't wait on saturday lol. Every team will be playing....plus final day of nhl regular season.

any one named bud or bubba is not too bright.   thats why he got the job....



this year opener s have no excitment as per reasns mentioned.


spring training games and 1 real game on same day.............good god!   who thought this up????????????????/////

yes thats what is going on here they are showing off the new miami stadium for marlins to everyone, that why it the opening game and the only game on this day, minus those japan games to open last week

What is so complicated about having an Opening Day game DURING THE DAY?

i agree ;the scheduling makes no sense starting 1 game last week ..??? ..its like society ..completely fractured ..why can't things be simplified and organized ...????.. we pay people to make common sense decisions  and the first thing they do is start screwing everything around ..

It doesn't feel like opening day, when there's games throughout the day, from noon to night time
