#8 Posted: 2/9/2012 1:36:32 AM We weren't Relevant in 07 and 08? In 2008 if you do your research... THE METS could have had the best record in baseball history with a half decent bullpen.
Bullpen Blew 35+ Games that year after the 7th inning and we won 88 games that year. |

The fact that you had 2 of the biggest collapses makes you more of a joke than relevant. I'm sorry. |

#13 Posted: 2/10/2012 2:07:00 PM Mets have never had even a .500 season while a first term Democratic President is in Washington, going 0-18.I thought that Bill Clinton had removed the curse by going to Shea on Jackie Robinson's night, but I guess it applied only to him or to Shea. |

#17 Posted: 2/11/2012 1:21:16 PM Lets bump this trash up at the All Star break when they are already mathematically eliminated.
Actually, why not? The last WS and SB were won both by slightly above avg teams that got hot at the right time. |

That slightly above average team that beat the patriots in the Super Bowl were a better team on paper than the Patriots. AND they won the Superbowl. AND they are the Champions... and i would say the patriots were hot too... but that didn't work |
